As you know that we are planning for the opening of two new campuses in Brisbane and
Sydney due to the significant demands of our services as an educational institute, we are certainly
facing considerable amount of improvement in our infrastructure and human resource. With a precise
focus on the size of expansion that we are expected to manage for providing the scope to the students
in receiving quality educational support, we require to improve some of our human resource
strategies. I feel the existence of no formal policy or strategy in the organization regarding the equal
employment opportunity and the diversity is a major concern for us going forward. At the same time
the improvement in the Human Resource Information System is much required considering the
growth of the business. Apart from this, I feel that the company needs to work on the induction
process, development of formal job analysis and design along with the creation of the formal training
system for the Occupational Health and Safety. Other than this, the confusion regarding the procedure
of the performance management and the lack of online system for linking the professional
development of the employees with the human resource system has the potential to affect the
effectiveness of the human resource management policies of the company. Along with this, the
requirement of budget for professional development, effective recruitment and selection strategy and
the formal system for the staff retention and succession planning are still point of concern for us.
Hence, I kindly request you to grant me some time, a probable date and place for discussing
with you regarding the above mentioned areas of human resource for implementing the expansion
plan in an efficient manner.
