The New Zealand Migrant Settlement and Integration Strategy is the milestone in the
history of this country’s migration policy and is regarded to be approved by Cabinet in 2014. It is
an approach by the Government that focuses on migrants to make them settled successfully and
they must be integrated in New Zealand to make this country their home and can actively support
by participating and contributing in all the aspects of their lifestyle.
Present report will talk about impact of this strategy on educational business organization
in Auckland New Zealand and changes that has been occurred in business after its
implementation. It will also study the social and cultural impact on the organization due to the
implementation of this strategy.

Government of New Zealand has introduced a new strategy which is supporting the
migrants that came and settled there by providing several aids such as making laws. This helps
migrants to make this country their home and give support and contribution for the upliftment of
this country. This strategy helped the government to successfully establish these migrants for the
development of New Zealand (Zealand, 2014). After the implementation of this strategy in 2014,
there are huge changes that have been introduced in New Zealand in the educational business
organization which includes both positive and negative impact respectively.
Academic College Group (ACG) is an educational private business operating in
Auckland, New Zealand. It was founded on 14 November 1994 by Sir John Graham and Dawn
Jones. Academic College Group offers education at all levels, starting at preschool and school
education to university programmes and vocational training as well (Iqbal, 2017). It also has
various schools which is operating under this group, such as, New Zealand Independent Schools,
International Schools, University Pathways in New Zealand, etc.

maintain a standard and quality of work in the institution. All the professors and teachers have to
treat all these immigrants with respect and help in making them comfortable (Hunter, Luna and
Norton, 2015). Other than this, it is essential to maintain an appropriate ethical behaviour within
the institute. This will assist in constituting a healthy environment. For the professional, it is very
essential to maintain a good environment for them in the institute so that all the migrants can feel
safe. This can also aid in providing them a good education as well. They have to focus on their
management so that they do not harm these immigrants.
Methods of Data Collection
For collecting data, a survey has been conducted through which impact of this
immigration strategy has been studied thoroughly. For this purposive sampling technique has
been considered. In this process, several has been questions to 10 professors and 10 students
which helped in analysing the overall impact of immigration strategy on immigrants. This helped
in getting accurate results.
