INTRODUCTION
To develop the global management competency there is an essential requirement of
having the adequate observation through the performance made by professionals and the entity in
a period. Moreover, in present assessment there has been analysis based team performance as
well as proper management operations of Newcastle United Football Club. This English club
was established in 1892 in consideration with merging the Newcastle east end and west end. This
club has capabilities of managing the seating arrangements for 52,354 people in its newly built
all-seater stadium (1990). It has a membership with premier league for 3 years in competition
history on which they had spent 85 seasons in top tier. Moreover, in order to make the
satisfactory improvement in the operational activities of this firm there will be several analyses.
Therefore, this research will enable the managers to determine the loopholes and make effective
changes into operations. There has been ascertained of the risks and problems associated with the
business which were analysed and the appropriate solution will be awarded to the managers.
Moreover, appropriate analysis will be presented over such data set as per using the BI/DA
techniques. Similarly, there has been presentation of dashboard which in turn reflect the
statistical measurements such as SAS, programming in relation with having satisfactory
reasoning behind the problems.
Problem/Opportunity statement which favours with Club
In the recent past the craze for football game is proportionately increasing as people are
love to watch and play this game. Therefore, in relation with this increasing trend there has been
increment in the competition level. Therefore, every football player needs to be more competent,
attractive and famous in his game. Similarly, every team has different skills and talent of players
which were known through their talent and efforts made on the field (Newcastle United, 2018).
Thus, after each match it becomes clear with the efforts and performance made by the players
during match. To ascertain the ability of a player in relation with analysing their performance for
each game there will be determination of outcomes with the help of statistical tools. In addition,
the problem which has been observed here that the improper training and practices made with
players has lead the poor outcomes through the matches. However, in accordance with such
issues there has been ascertainment of efficiency level of players by analysing the data set which
consists number of goals, fouls etc. made by them during the period. The analysis will be based
on measuring information with SAS tools, preparing dash board, regression analysis etc.

appropriate reasons behind the problem as well as managing the operations with effective
decision making. Therefore, it ascertains that the business will have appropriate knowledge and

stated in Newcastle United Football Club there will be determination of the reason behind the
player's performance. Thus, after analysing issues with the performance made by players during
the match there are various loopholes such as many of the players has higher fouls while the
goals are lower than expected (Newcastle United, 2018). Thus, it insists that there is need to have
changes in the training and development process which will improve their performance as well
as enhance their efficiency level. On the other side, the importance of business intelligence is
that it totally removes the guess work because of the accurate outcomes which ascertains the
proper historical data. It will be assistive as it easily recognises the opportunities for the business
which will be helpful in improving the capabilities and bring the competitive advantages.
Moreover, it comprises with preparing dashboards, reports on the basis of Tableau and
Quilkview as well as Excels. On the other side, in relation with the data analytics system there

of players in relation with there performance, fees payable to them, brand value etc. Moreover,
there are 12 numbers of players which has performed well during the matches. Thus, among
these players Dwight Gayle has scored 23 goals, Ayoze perez has scored 12 goals while
Aleksandar Mitrovic and Mohamed Diame has same outcomes for 6 goals. Thus, it can be said
that the these are the players which are making effective efforts in matches while other players
are just making goals between 1-3. It ascertains that Newcastle United Football Club has to make
effective changes in their training and developed program which will improve the efforts of such
players. Therefore, there is need to enhance the talent and skills of these players which will bring
effective changes into overall performance of team (van Renesse and et.al., 2013). On the other
side, the revenue and fees payable to them is comparatively not adequate and enough as per their
efforts. Moreover, the highest revenue is being payable to Dwight which good but the lowest
amount is being payable to Ayoze who has scored 12 goals. Thus, it can be said that there is
needed to make the changes in the payment system as the players need to payable in accordance
with their efficiency and performance made by them during the period. Similarly, with the brand
value which were being payable to these players on which Dwight has payable the highest
amount of 1000 million while Aleksandar Mitrovic as 16.65 millions on the second position.
Therefore, it can be said there is needed to make changes payments made to these players which
is not appropriate and satisfactory.
Regression analysis
To ascertain the relationship between the depended and independent variables which will
be analysed through appropriate analysing technique such as regression. Moreover, it will be a
helpful tool to Newcastle United Football Club as to have appropriate regression analysis over
following hypothesis such as:

By considering the regression analysis it can be said that the analysis has been based on
the various hypothesis which will be assistive in terms of analysing the differences between key
passes per game and goals scored by players. Moreover, while considering the F value of the
preposed analysis it can be demonstrated here that it is >0.05 (F= 0.00) which indicates that there
is need to consider the alternative hypothesis. Thus, it can be said that there are differences
among key passes per game and goals scored by players. However, in order to improve the key
passes per game the firm need to consider improvements in training and development of players.

Cluster analysis
It is the analysis which ascertains the accurate outcomes by task grouping with the set of
objects which will be listed in the same group. Thus, which indicates the cluster analysis.
Therefore, in simple terms it can be said that the variables or components which belongs to the
same group and share similarity with each other than it will be treated under cluster group.
Moreover, the similarity will be among the variables as per their patterns and distances from a
centroid. Therefore, inn relation with analysing the data set it can be said that there has been sale
of average numbers of key passes in respect to the goals made by players.
CONCLUSION
By considering the above the report it can be said that there has been huge variations in
performance made by players during the match. It has been determined here that the players are
payable which is not in accordance with their efforts made in the matches. Similarly, with the
brand values which is associated with the fees payable to these players that defines that it a
wrong approach. Additionally, it can be said that the players are needed to be paid in accordance
with the performance made by them during the period. It will be suggested to the football club
that they must make improvements in the player's performance which will be fruitful for them in
terms of satisfactory outcomes. Additionally, it will be suggested to the players that they must
make necessary improvements in the operational activities as each game of these team has to be
recorded properly over SQL server. It must be comprises with the records of performance made
by each player in the field. On the other side, to make changes in the games it will be suggested
that the position of each players on the field must be changed as it will have positive impacts
over their efforts made during the period. Further, to have the adequate increment in the
operational practices which will be effective in improving the efficiency of players.
On the other side, in relation with the analysed regression over two variables such as
goals and key passes per game it has been ascertained that there is a significant relationship in
between goals and key passes per game. However, it will be recommended to the professionals
of this entity is that they must make appropriate improvements in training and development
program. It will improve a player's efficiency which in turn build attractiveness to the game
among consumers. Moreover, after making such analysis the improvements will be fruitful for
the growth and development of business.
