Near-field communication (NFC)
Definition: NFC is such a short range wireless connectivity which is standard and used of
magnetic field induction for enabling the communication among the devices when it is touched
together. It is a wireless technology which allows the devices to collect in addition to interpret of
data from closely located NFC devices. This device is employed of inductive coupling
technology where the power as well as data is to be shared throughout coupled inductive circuits
over proximity of fewer centimeters. It is employed throughout mobile phones as well as credit
cards where the information is read when it is passé close to other devices. This device can speed

up the payment processes. It makes the customers to carry the Smartphone which are used as
virtual wallet. It facilitates of secured payment transactions while elimination of requirements of
retailers to check for identification by require of biometric information.
