Introduction
Generally, Ian Potter center: NGV Australia is an art gallery that houses the Australian section of
art collection in the National Gallery Victoria (NGV).It is located at Federation square in
Melbourne while the gallerys works are displayed at the NGV international on the St Kilda
Road. Ian Potter center: NGV Australia is an important site for Australian people and also other
individual visitors from different parts of the world. Based on historical evidence, this particular
site was founded in the year 2002.
The discussion starts by acknowledging the brief history of Ian Potter center: NGV
Australia .Conversely literally share the experiences I had after visiting the museum which
presents beneficial aspects of the Australian society culture and past historical activities.

My site visit
In my visit at the art, I noticed quite a number of things. The art there is well displayed and of
very high quality. What caught my attention, however, was the Art of the Pacific and beautiful
paintings on the walls. The aim of this site is to appreciate and honor the existing artistic nature,
value and culture of the pacific region (Johnson, Becker, Estrada, Freeman, 2015 p.82). Over the
years is has been widely considered as one of the world’s greatest tradition that is ever evolving
and changing by the society. The art of pacific gallery basically aims towards introducing
viewers and visitors at the art gallery the cultural traditions, spirit and diversity of the amazing
oceanic art. The current display at the Ian Potter center: NGV Australia is very beautiful. It
portrays nothing but just pure culture. The art is quite unique in nature and literally nothing
similar to that has ever been seen before in regard to its authenticity and other quality issues.

exhibitions that categorically explore the Australia’s complex colonial past. This art was
designed and it is believed to have emerged during such a time when Australia was struggling
from its colonial oppressors (Tseng &Wu, 2013 p.47).This art is called the colony Australia;
1770-1861. This art is very significant to the Australian people as it brings together a collection
of art that portrayed the actual way of life of the Australian people during their colonial era.
As seen the Ian Potter center: NGV Australia welcomes more than 10 million visitors is
significant to communicate new upcoming acquisitions thus contributing to the enhancement of
the visitor’s ability to fulfill their travelling and visiting desires.
It offers the visitors a totally new experience through the utilization of various existing outlets
like cafes. It communicates the understanding and appreciation of Australian diet from eating
various types of food in the region.
It also indicates societal leadership and reconceptualization
The Ian Potter center: NGV Australia is deemed to have branding aspects in a competitive
landscape. This enables the visitors to appreciate the art of doing trade and business activities. It
