INTRODUCTION
Team management is organisational as well as individuals ability in order to coordinate
and regulate individuals to perform a desired task (Barnett, Oboh and Smith, 2016). The team
work involves performance appraisal, setting of objectives, teamwork and communication. The
job role of care coordinator will be chosen for understanding project report of team management.
The study will lay emphasis on ability to address requirement range of communication. Also, the
ability to improve communication system and practice that support individuals in respect of
positive outcomes. The report will also cover the ability of care coordinator in order to improve
communication system in order to support partnership working. The report will also describe
about the use of effective management of information.
MAIN BODY
1. Care coordinator's ability to address range of requirement of communication in NHS.
Range of groups and individuals whose communication needs must be addressed to role of
care coordinator in NHS
Nurses and doctors - The nurses and doctors working in NHS are concerned about their
safety needs. The doctors and nurses need to be in safe environment while working in the NHS
(Lees, 2016). They share their problems with care coordinator in order to address their
grievances in NHS. So, they communicate with NHS's care coordinator in order to create a
hygienic and safe environment to maintain safety of doctors and nurses who serve their services
to patients
Suppliers – The care coordinator give detail about products needed by the suppliers of
NHS for operating their functions smoothly. The suppliers have a high bargaining power for the
availability of high competition in this sector. For this they maintain a good relationship with the
suppliers. Supplies such as medicines, equipment, etc. Also, The suppliers set their conditions
according to the requirement of NHS.
Patients - The patients arrive at NHS for their health treatment communicate their
problems with the care coordinator. The care coordinator builds good relationship with the
Patients at NHS (Hodgson, Graham and Mc Gough, 2018). They try to avail all those services
which can be provided by them for better and healthy atmosphere in NHS.

coordinator may able to develop following things in the NHS. They are :
Proper task allocation – The proper allocation of information and task can be supportive
to the NHS by care coordinator. This can be executed by performance review, meeting,
instruction, etc. to employees working at NHS.
Building team work – The care coordinator is able to bind employees which are working
in NHS by their effective leadership and communication skills. The care coordinator is able to

skills in order to execute effective communication in company like NHS. Also, in order to

Barriers and challenges to communication.
Physical barrier Unavailability of proper, e mail facility, telephonic, temperature, poor
lighting, affects working of NHS by misrepresentation of information among people,
management and patients. The barriers of availability of physical tools, equipment, etc. affects a
lot to the working of care coordinator in executing effective communication and creates a gap in
communication among NHS.
Language barrier – The company is executing diversity of culture in their organisation
and different culture represents different languages (Lambert, and Jamieson, 2019). Thus,
communication misinterpretation is common by the barrier of language in the job role of care

Design of structure The NHS is following an organisational structure in which
employee at lower position is not able to communicate to person at higher position (Cameron,
2016). There is proper flow of formal communication in between different structure. Therefore,

Consideration - The recipient of their communication must involved and considered
while executing communication in NHS (Ham, and Berwick, 2017). The opinion of audience to
which Care coordinator is communication which vary from department head, employees,
suppliers etc. be considered.
Correct - The spelling and grammar mistakes must avoided while communication
executed by Care coordinator in any department of the NHS. Thus, correct message of Care
coordinator by the use of appropriate language must be used while communicating among

An effective communication is executed in mainly two ways in NHS. They are verbal

coordinator to manage the task efficiently and effectively in the NHS (Cameron, 2016).
Also, The company such as NHS execute effective communication in written and verbal
communication reflects professionalism (Lichtner, and et.al., 2016). The care coordinator
undertakes every activity of communication flow in NHS by following this means of
communication to manage working and to maintain their working in terms of professionalism.
