Attractions
Niagara Falls is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It is one of the
most beautiful waterfalls that is located between Ontario province of Canada and the New York
state of the US. It is a group of three falls that are located in the Niagara Gorge. The largest falls
among them is the Horseshoe Falls. The Niagara Falls becomes a popular summertime attraction
for tourists that come from both the US, Canada and the other parts of the world. Winter is
generally considered as the off season. Some of the most important tourism activities in the place
are the Maid of the Mist Boat cruise and the Hornblower cruise (Niagara Falls Canada 2019).
Other attractions are the Prospect Point Observation tower in the American side of the falls. The
cruises that are mentioned take the tourist immediately below the falls. There are also other
attractions such as the Cave of the winds which is accessible by an elevator. The Canadian side
of the falls has the Queen Victoria Park and the Skylon Towers. Some of the major events that

take place in and around the Niagara Falls are the Niagara Food and Wine Festival, Folk Arts
Festival, Niagara Falls international marathon and Friendship Festival. These events make the
tourist experiences even better.

Amenities
Niagara Falls being one of the most visited tourist sites in the world there are many large
accommodation places across the area. Many of them are located in the Canadian side of the falls
and the others are located in the New York state. There are availability of large five star hotels
around the Niagara Falls. On the American side one of the most important hotels is the Seneca
Niagara Casino Hotel. The hotel occupies the former Niagara Falls convention center. The food
and beverage choices are many. The food choices range from great wine and beverages. Tourists
can enjoy great food on both sides of the borders. There are souvenir shops available across the
vicinity of the area. There are retail stores available like the Canada trading company, the
Swarovski Retail stores and other major retail outlets (Nunkoo 2015). There are also the
availability of Target departmental stores and factory outlets and Walmart. Tourists have a large
number of options available before them for making choices. There are services available such as
transport and lodging. There are tourist point oriented side viewing services that are available

and many options to choose from. There are also helicopter ride facilities that are available. The
Canadian side of the falls has the Queen Victoria Park and the Skylon Towers. One of the most
important parks is the Niagara Falls State Park. There are other large or small parks that increase
the beauty of the destination. The most important transport spots are the train services through
the Go Transit (Elliot and Joppe 2016). There are taxi drive services that are available from the
stations. Train service and bus services are also available from the New York side of the place.
There are the availability of shuttles and other important transport services. The transport
services on both sides of the border are effective and helps to make the experiences smoother for
the visitors.

Access
The transport facilities that are available in and around the Niagara Falls region is very good.
This is mainly due to its very important strategic position which makes it an important
destination for both the US and Canada. There are many parks in the region that are important as
side attractions. Apart from the transportation facilities there are very important golf, outdoor
recreation and nightlife facilities that are available in the area (Macfarlane 2016). There are
fireworks displays that light up the night skies of the Niagara Falls. Some innovative rides that
are available are the ropeway suspension rides and the

Ancillary Services
There are some of the most important visitor centers that are available in the vicinity.
Lundy’s lane is one of the most important places to visit in the vicinity of the park. Other places
that are important are the Clifton Hill District, Clifton Hill Niagara and Fallsview Boulevard.
The Region of the Niagara Falls are managed by the Niagara Falls Regional Council on the
Canadian side of the border. It is officially under the control of the government of the province
of Ontario. There are 12 regional municipalities of Niagara on the Canadian side. On the side of
the USA, the regions is under the mayor council of the city. It forms the 26th congressional
district of the country. The transportation of the region is under the Niagara frontier transport
Authority.
