attributes of Florence Nightingale. As per the work of Nightingale I learned a lot with regard to
my professional career of nurse. I learn that how along with medicine, nurse plays an important
role in terms of enabling positive environment to a patient. Likewise, I also learned that how I
need to work so that I would be able to understand my patient need and by enabling its such
environment how I will play my role in the context of recovery of patient. I also learn that how I
need to consider the case as a source of learning (Hanna, (2018)). With this research I also
developed confidence with regard to dealing with patient. I learn that I always need to be
innovative with regard to dealing my patient. Likewise, by considering my previous case I need
to learn my mistakes and try to get more efficient so that better services will be enabled by me
with regard to my professional career.
With the research in the context of Nightingale I learned the participative leadership that
with the contribution of every colleague and team, critical case can also be dealt easily. I also
learned that I need to be always innovative which means that I need to be ready to dealt with
adverse situation along with enabling best treatment so that patient health will be recovered at
fast rate. With this research I also learned that I don't need to limit myself with respect to self-
thinking. This means I learn teamwork and always taking steps with respect to benefit for the
team. I also understood the importance of training and learning about the use of new instrument.
In the same way by conducting research on Nightingale I also analyze that I always need to be
complied with the trans-formative leadership style so that the changing trends and mode of
treatment would be able to learn by me. This is because trans-formative leadership is related with
bringing transformation and changes (Montuori & Donnelly (2017)).

This knowledge and learning will proves to be very helpful for me in with regard to my
professional career and field. Being a nursing student, the learning from Nightingale will assist
me to deal with the patient in effective manner. Likewise, its mode of leadership will also guide
me to deal with my team and enabling best care and treatment to my patient. Nightingale will be
considered as my ideal and this research including attributes and contribution of Nightingale
would guide me to deal in my future professional life in terms of being an effective nurse.
Likewise, the learning and knowledge which is being grabbed from the research of Florence
Nightingale will proves to be useful in professional context in terms of leading the team along
with enabling best care and treatment to patient. This will also lead to help in safeguarding the
