Background
Report include discussion on the challenges that has been faced by fashion retailers due to
online retailers. In this analysis of Nike is being conducted. This organisation is operating its
operations in retail industrial segment.
Reason for choosing the theme
It has been evaluated that leading stores like Nike and Adidas are facing challenges due to
increase in online retailers (Naseri, 2021). These are posing challenges in front of Nike that have
negative impact of company profit generation capabilities. This theme is chosen to have proper
understanding of the challenges along with determining effective strategies to overcome them in
a well define and effective manner. In addition to this, as a business student I am duly curious to
determine the strategies through which company like Nike can overcome the challenges posed
by online retailers.
Data collection
In order to conduct research primary and secondary data collection method will be undertaken.
In context with primary method questionnaire will be used (Soni, 2021). While on the other
hand, in terms with secondary method use of magazines, journals, articles and books will be
undertaken.
