Until recently, Tesla had been the only option for the customers who were looking for a fully
electric automobile. However, the stepping of Nissan Leaf has posed a threat to the former one
with its vast range of specialities and value added features (Salisbury 2016). Compared to the
Model 3 of Tesla, Nissan leaf is more proven and tested. This car had been also the top selling
electric vehicles across the globe since it has entered the market in 2010 (Debnath 2015). Though
costlier than the Tesla Model 3, it justifies its high range with its top of the line trim level
version. The car has also improved itself in striving to the aim of “zero emission”. The 2019
version of the car is sleeker and the interior are cosy and have a wide space for stowing small
items. The cars has 66 kilowatt hours of battery and 226 miles range, 57 extra horsepower than
the original version and 215 hp. The car also has automated climate control and emergency
braking. In addition to these primary features, the car also has some exclusive features like the
Apple Car play and the Android Auto that makes it more attractive and posh. The car’s
infotainment that sizes upto eight inches also adds up to the attractiveness and handiness of the
car. The car has also focused largely on the safety issues of the customers and has added features
like pro pilot assists as well as power driver seats, high beamed headlights and the monitoring of
the blind spots.
