INTRODUCTION
People management is part of the human resource management where manage all the
staff members as per the organisational policies These tasks can consist of following activities
such as, compensation, performance management, development of business, employee
motivation, direction etc. When a manager managing the people that time concentrate on the
both aspects of hiring of right candidate and meet the requirement of an organisation (Baumeister
and Vohs, 2016). After hiring of people company provide training & development according to
their role and interact with the organisational goals & objectives. This report based on the
Nissan, which is a manufacturing organisation and established in Sunderland, United Kingdom.
It was founded in 15 April, 1984. The presented report has been classified intro three parts where
consist of management team of Nissan select policies and legislation to arrange their staff and
maintain the organisational production. Additionally, in this report focus on talent management,
leadership & management and training & development.

Learning & Management
Learning & management is most essential term of any organisation which is applied by
them for effective management. As a important feature of management, significant leadership
behaviour stresses upon developing a atmosphere in which every staff members build and excels.
Leadership is a procedure where motivate by a leader to group of people regarding to particular
task. A leader analysis all the situation of an organisation according to that prepare a strategy and
provide better solution which supports to an organisational operations. Management is defined as
important function of the business where a manager manage to people and direct them for the
organisational goals and objectives. A manager control all the activities and manager according
to business efficiency. Such as, Nissan follow the term of leadership & management that
supports to attracts people and sort out their issues and suggests them right direction to complete
the task. For this term Nissan follow particular theory that helps to conduct policies effectively.
Contingency theory:
This theory defined that a leader's effectiveness is contingent because it is based on
her/his leadership style as per the situation. It is essential for business to tackle with problems

and arrange the profit margin by running the organisation. This theory mainly based on the
different situation and according to that a leader take decision, maintain relation, dealing with
different environment of business, loyalty & confidence that supports to all the functions
systematically. In the context of Nissan, the management and leader apply contingency theory to
manage different situation, control and forecast the behaviour of staff members to understand
that how to encourage staff members regarding to work and create good relation with them
(Collins, Marenin and Chu, 2016). Such as, the management of Nissan distribute the work
among the staff members according to their skills & efficiencies that supports them to analysed
that how they can they make effort to achieve organisational goals & objectives in certain period
of time. Through this theory, create relation in between management and staff members that
remains good and maintain effective environment.
Training & development
It is a subsystem of a business that impact on the improvement of the efficiency of
individuals as well as groups. Training is part of education where consist of sharpening of skills,
concepts, changing of behaviour and achieving more knowledge to increase the performance of
all the staff members. When business conduct different activities in various field so company
provide training to their staff members to understand their role regarding to work and how to
contribute in business objectives. The purpose of this function to enhance the skills and learning
capacity to improve business performance. The improvement based on the training &
development programme that offer by the business to employees. Such as Nissan, the
management selected some employees according to work and provide training & development to
enhance their skills and help to perform effective manner that helps to accomplish goals &
objectives of the business.
Transitional model: The particular model concentrate on the business as a whole. Vision
concentrate on the marking where a business would like to attain after the described point of
time. It is mainly connected with the vision, mission and objectives of the business entity where
administration focus on overall performance of the business. There are consisting of two loops
such as outer and inner. In external loop management of Nissan company concentrate on all the
specific aspects like objectives, goals & mission as per the training and internal loop
management utilise for the activity formulation (Gambetti, Melewar and Martin, 2017). It

employees to conduct market research and know about customer taste & preferences and
understand about new technology application to conduct operations. As a result it enhance the
business productivity as well as profit margin. Furthermore, the management provide session that
supports to analysing of all aspects that are offer in the business entity. These session are
working positive manner and increase confidence level and trust of staff members to achieve
good education in order to present in effective manner.

It is a systematic procedure to recognising the vacant position, recruiting the suitable
person for the vacant seat. After that enhancing the skills and make expertise that person to
match the position and stay long time in the organisation and help to achieve all the objectives.

according to allocation of work. They are making effort and show their talent for particular post
and enhance the efficiency of an entity. Moreover, the management of Nissan follow all the

Training & Development – The manager of Nissan time to time provide training to their
employees if they apply new technology in the business (Mosley and et. Al, 2018). For this
organise development programme where they can improve skills and increase the performance.
Through this programme employees understand about new programme and system to complete
their work according to business requirement.
Evaluation of quality control standard – It means management analysis the product
and check the quality and standard to run activities of business in smooth manner. In case of
Nissan, management analysis the quality standard through checking standard of produced items
as well as services.
Analysing project and resource recruitment – It is another role where Nissan give
precedence to particular products and resources to complete project on time. In the context of

follow the contingency theory that supports to sort out critical situation. By using this
management can control and increase the production of business.
In second part, it is advised that to enhance the performance of the business require to
increase skills of employees. For this provide training & development to face different types of
problems and manage the functions easily.
In the end mainly focus on the talent management in which team select right people and
according to requirement trained them. As a result they male effort and help to business to
achieve all require results.
