 Mr Smith has decided to implement changes in the
organization of Sunoco Inc.
 Data migration would be done by migrating the
confidential data to cloud platform.

 Such changes would be done after ensuring data
security and privacy.

 The change is needed for data security so that

Resistance Analysis
 There is a high chance that there would be resistance from
the employees of other departments as they are unaware of
the changes required in the business.
 Moreover, if communication will not be done with them
effectively, it would affect them majorly and issues would
arise.
 Arranging meetings with these employees would resolve
this issue effectively.
 Hence, organization would be benefitted with the meetings
and no employee would resist to the changes anymore.

Risk Analysis
 The main risk is loss of data from any type of attack
or vulnerability, present in the cloud platform.
 Lack of data recovery is the second risk in this type
of change (Kuipers et al. 2014).
 Consequences could be quite high as data would
not be recovered at any circumstance if lost from
cloud platform.
 The most suitable method to mitigate the risks in
cloud, data warehouse and BI would be encryption.

Change Implementation Plan
 The entire plan of change should be implemented
after checking for the organizational change
readiness.
 As soon as every employee would be ready with
the change, implementation would be easier.
 The duration for implementation would take total
of 6 months from the plan.
 Every stakeholder would be supporting the change
and hence risks and threats would be minimized.

Training Plan
 To ensure better execution of the entire plan, training
would be given to all employees.
 A detailed knowledge regarding cloud computing, BI
software and data warehouse would be provided to the
team members so that they are able to execute the
change.
 Training materials and facilities will be prepared by the
organizational management.
 The time incurred for training would be minimum of 1
month.
