Project Summary
Objectives
The main part to be covered in this assessment after the completion of the first two
assessments is the ethics in Machine learning. Machine learning helps in developing the
technology a lot. With the help of Machine learning, technologies have shown a great growth
and a lot of new inventions have been discovered. Making the high standard technologies
always lacks if there is the absence of ethics. This causes the issues of the security as
providing or adding the proper ethics to the technologies is considered as really very
important.
Methods
Keeping the ethics in the field of the technology discovered by the use of Machine Learning
is considered as really very important. A different number of methods are to be used in order
to keep the maintenance of ethics in Machine Learning. Setting the proper rules or the
protocols are the main methods that are being used in order to set the ethics in the field of
Machine Learning and these ethics keeps the proper running of the technologies in a proper
way.
Expected Outcome
On implementing the various methods such as the protocols or the various standards as well
as the rules, the major outcome that could be seen is that the technologies are getting quite
better and work is getting really better. The major issues related to the ethics part in the
development of the technologies and the new inventions are that the things became
professional and quite better.
Data to be collected
After imposing the proper standards or the rules, the entire data is needed to be collected. For
collecting the data a framework is being used that is named as NICE, different number of
jobs are being defined in this framework and that are exploitation analyst, target network and

the next one od the cyber operator. Each of them performs different functionalities by using
the various tools.
How data will be processed
 Exploitation Analyst- First job is of exploitation analyst. The person performing this job
is mainly the cybersecurity practitioner that focusses mainly on identifying the
weaknesses along with the potentially exploitable vulnerabilities lies in the area network
of the target.
 Target Network Analyst- Second important job is of the target network analyst that
mainly focusses on taking out the best out of the technologies and make the 10% use of
the technologies. Open-source data is mainly being used here. Data is being collected in
this by the use of the open-source and other different operations are then being
performed.
 Cyber Operator- Third job is of the Cyber operator and this job could be considered as
some way out similar to the first job mentioned that is of the Exploitation analyst. Breadth
is the main thing on which the work is focussed here other than the depth. Here, the data
from the multiple sources is being collected and after that the exploitation of the potential
targets is done along with the tracking system.
Ethics Principles
 Truthfulness and confidentiality
Starting with the first ethic principle, truthfulness and confidentiality, here the data is
being on various networks and it must be kept in proper and safe hands and the trust must
be built. Making or developing the faith with the customers is the main thing that is to be
focussed and confidentiality is the other factor that mainly assures that the data must be
kept secure and confidential.
 Minimizing the Risk and Harm
Moving on, the other principle of ethics is named as minimizing the risk and harm. The
major factor that is being covered is the management of the risk in the field of machine
learning. The new technologies are being discovered and the main things that are being

focussed in adding the ethics in the inventions and keeping them and using them in a way
so that it could not harm anyone.
 Informed consent
The next principle is the informed consent and this mainly defines that each of the person
who is undergoing various procedures must be properly informed about it and must have the
proper information regarding that. In the field of the machine learning, each of the creation or
the development must be properly elaborated and the person using the technology must have
the proper information.
 Autonomy
Moving onto the next principle as well as the last principle is the Autonomy. This is
considered as one of the most important principle of ethics and each and every must be
properly aware about it. Self-determination is the main thing that is being covered in this
principle of ethics. Independence as well as the freedom of an individual is also the main
points in this principle.

This part of the form contains the explanation of the topic named as the Machine Learning.
Machine Learning has given a lot in developing the large number of technologies as well as
various are also being seen. The main thing on which the entire report is focussing is the
ethics that must be included into the machine learning as well as the inventions made by the
use of Machine Learning.
What will be the Participant asked to do?
The main focus would be asking the participants or the contestants to attend the various asked
questions. Multiple options would be provided along with the questions in order to help the
participants to attend and answer of the question. All the questions would definitely be based
on the Machine Learning topic.

The participation would definitely provide a lot of benefits to the participants as by asking the
different type of questions from the customer would provide them the deep knowledge
related to the topic such as about the Machine Learning.
How will the information I give be used?
The entire information that would be collected through the various means would be utilised
or being used in different ways such as by getting the large number of feedbacks from
different people helps in publishing various articles that could be used for the academic
purposes. The de-identification would be focussed as the main aim for hiding the details of
the person.
What are the potential risks of participating in this project?
No such risk would be encountered here, as students ae just gaining the benefits out of the
entire process.
How will this project be conducted?
The entire would be help or conducted in different ways such as it would start with a survey
that would include the participation of number of different people who would be putting out
their points and their personal data would be kept hidden. By getting the large number of
feedbacks from different people helps in publishing various articles that could be used for the
academic purposes. Multiple options would be provided along with the questions in order to
help the participants to attend and answer of the question. All the questions would definitely
be based on the Machine Learning topic.

Include the deception of participants?
If the deception of the participants is being encountered then the chances of the risk gets
increased and that would definitely harm the entire study and the event. In case this happens,
the participant would definitely be eliminated from the event and this would help the other
participants to get resolved.
Provide the right to withdraw
The right to withdraw is the other option that is being provided to the participant and in this
case if the participant wish to get back his/her name at any moment of time, then he/she could
easily do so without any trouble.
