This research study consists of the data about the specifications of the smartphone. The
smartphone taken for this research study was Nokia 7.1. this phone is one of the best
smartphones in its segment and is one of the mid-range smartphones which is launched by the
Nokia Company in October month of the year 2018. This phone is one of the most secure phone
and is much more durable. The users who were looking for the durable phones their search is
over after the launch of this phone. The specifications of this phone is given as follows:
Hardware specifications of Nokia 7.1:
 The display of Nokia 7.1 is having the display scale of 5.8 inch which is most ideal
display range among all the phones of this segment in order to have a full High Definition
display. The display gets the good reviews from the users because of its much more
effectiveness and efficiency.
 The Processor of this phone is also good amongst all the range of smartphones of this
segment. This phone consists of the Qualcomm snapdragon 636 processor chipset which
is the best in such a mid-range smartphone.
 This phone is also having enough temporary memory which is 4GB of RAM presented in
this phone. The phone consists od enough and efficient RAM for performing multitasking
with very easy experience in order to run the different applications much more easily on
the phone.
 The external storage memory of this phone is also a good which comes with the 64 GB of
storage and the users can also insert the Micro SD card and also increase the storage
space by 400 GB.
 The Camera presented in this phone by the Nokia is also good among its segment. This
phone is having the sensor- based camera of 12 megapixels having the f/1.8 aperture as
well as 5-megapixel secondary camera because it is having dual camera at rear side.
 The front camera of this phone is having the sports based single camera which is of 8-
megapixel sensor- based camera having the f/2.0 aperture with the selfie mode
 This phone Consists of the battery which is 3060 MAH and is having the Lithium ion
battery which is having the long- lasting performance of the phone. The battery is worth
to money in such mid- range smartphones
These are the best hardware specifications of Nokia 7.1. this phone is the best in its segment
because it is having the much more effective and efficient processor, camera, battery as well as
the camera. This phone is running on the Android 9 pie which is the latest version of Android in
the smartphones. This smartphone is having such great specifications in such a price range.

Task 2B: Operating System specifications
This phone consists of the Android 9.0 Pie which is the latest version of the android operating
system which is the latest operating system launched by the Samsung in December 2018. This
phone is having the latest android version with the octa core processor which is one of the
greatest combinations in this segment. The android 9 is having some of the issues which are
given as follows.
The issues in Android Oreo:
 Application Failures: in android 9 pie the applications sometimes fail while running
because some of the applications are not updated according to the android version so that
the application sometimes crashes or fails or stops running on the smartphones. This issue
has been fixed by the developers in the updates.
 Boot loop: the phone sometimes when rebooted by the user goes to the boot loops and
sometimes gets stuck on the start window which is much more irritating for the users in
order to start the phone the user starts trying to reboot again and again which is the major
bugs of the android 9.
 Device freezes: the device might sometimes freezes on the different screens which is
much more irritating for the user sometimes the user might have to start the application
again which is the major issue in the android 9 which is fixed by the developers in the
updates which are launched further.
 Brightness issues: the android 9 users are facing the adaptive brightness issues in the
phone the brightness level sometimes gets changed automatically which is one of the
major issues in this version of android. This problem is also been fixed by the developers
in further updates.
These are some of the major issues which are faced by the Samsung Galaxy S9 because of the
Android 8.0 Oreo which was furtherly fixed in the updates released by the company for the
benefits of the users. the Difference between the android Oreo and its latest version Pie has been
explained below.

Comparison between Android Oreo and Android Pie:
Android Nougat Android Pie
The android Nougat consists of the Miracast
feature by which the users can cast their
device into another device may it be TV or
any smart device.
This version of android is not having the
Miracast feature instead it is having the
Chromecast features which is not supported
by all smart devices.

interface which makes the tasks easier for the
users.

themes of the phones.
The android nougat does not consist of any
app usage restriction feature. This feature is
much more necessary in preventing the more
and more usage of the application by the users
in their phones.
This version of android consists of the
application usage restriction feature which the
users can set also on their own. This feature
lets the user set the warning for the
application usage which is the another great
feature.
