My leadership quadrant
According to my leadership attitude and personal values, my leadership strategy
belongs to the social or systematic leadership quadrant. This management quadrant is a
optimum balance of mutual understanding and systematic decision making (Murray, 2015).
Therefore, to fit my democratic leadership style in a systematic social service the social or
systematic leadership quadrant will be the ideal selection.
My competency domains
As per my leadership style and behaviour, the relationships domain is the strongest
domain, through which I am able to develop strong communication and interpersonal
relationship. However, the weakness domain in my leadership strategy is complexity, which
restrict my ability to adapt new changes while guiding and supervising my subordinates and
fellow workers (Tannenbaum & Schmidt, 2017).
Executive Directors effectiveness
Effectiveness of Executive Director is essential with the Board of Director, that
allows the director to make proper decision aligned with the organisational mission and
vision as well as ethical consideration.
Effectiveness of Executive Directors with staffs and volunteers allows cooperative
and healthy employee with employer relationship while increasing the efficiency of the
workforce as well (Carlos Pinho, Paula Rodrigues & Dibb, 2014).
The effectiveness with the community allows the executive director to making good
relationship with the community as well as taking care of the social and cultural ethical issues
and values. Community support is very essential to develop a social service organisation.
