RE: Final Grade Appeal for ENT 5000
Dear Sir/ Ma’am
I, Rosie Culbert, has been pursuing my course of Business Administration in your
esteemed institution under the supervision of Dr. Chad McAllister. I have appeared for my finals
of Master of Business Administration this semester and received a grade of 72.4 in the paper
ENT 5000, which only adds up to an F.
In this regard, I earnestly make a formal request to the concerned faculty member and to
your good self to kindly change my final grade in ENT 5000 from an F to a C. I understand that
perhaps I was given an F for adequate reasons and my lack of performance in the said course,
However, I am certain that I would have done better if I could appear in the exams with less
constraints in my family as well as personal life.
I would like to inform the respected faculty that during this time, I was going through a
rather difficult time and could not invest adequate time and effort in my academic assignments.
The reason I could not perform adequately in the exams is that I was facing some financial as
well as mental hardships as I had to leave my home in MS and move to Texas with my son all by
myself.

As it is obvious from situation, a grade of F would be greatly damaging to my career and
would put me in more financial distress. In a situation like this, I could not really risk it. If my
grade was increased by a mere 8 points, I could be awarded a C and will be able to receive my
degree. This will be a huge favour to both my son and myself.
Hence, I hope and pray that I am allowed to resubmit my finals to get a better grade. I
request for an appointment with you to discuss any possibility of my grades being revised. I
earnestly hope that you kindly consider the matter and oblige.
Thanking you
Yours sincerely
Rosie Culbert
