Change management is a process, technique and tools to make people accept the changes in
order to achieve the required business results. Organizational tools are effectively utilized for
helping individuals to make personal transitions, which further results in realization and adoption
of change (jung, 2011). This paper sheds a light on the current state of Children Health Care,
which provides day care to children in the state of Georgia and the required changes that are
being implemented for the well-being of the organization as well as the children’s.

funding for the improvements of the roads and to make it easier for the patient families to reach
them and improve some traffic problems and some important changes for the neighbor’s.

improvements, developments and effectiveness. The role of change agent in the transportation

changes are to be made and how they are inculcated within the organizational structure (grey,
2012). Change agent is an individual who decides what resources, equipment’s and tools are
required. For example, changes for furniture, beds, advanced pediatrics, support buildings, green
space and miles of walking paths and trails, providing natural environment for children’s are
decided by change agent.
Resources, deliverables and deadlines
Necessary resources, which are required to bring the changes in Children Health Care in Atlanta,
are 446 beds in two patient towers, an “advanced pediatrics” center, children’s toys, land
building, raw materials, labor, equipment and tools (passenheim, 2010). Although, these
resources are to be deliver at the place of the transportation through different sources like, trucks,
cranes and important vehicles to carry these resources. The children’s hopes that, the
construction will start by the year 2020 and will end in the year 2026.
Barriers to changes:
The problems or barriers faced by Children Health Care while making changes generates when there is
miscommunication between the management and the labor, which lead to improper changes in
construction of the new building. Scarcity of resources is also a major problem as insufficient resources
can hamper the progress of the organization work. For any change, management support is important, but
the company faced this as a problem as the management did not support some infrastructure changes
made by the change agent in the company. Availability of inadequate amount of budget required for the
development of the organization can pause the changes, which were decided for the infrastructure and
transportation of the Children Health Care. (kotter, 2012)

empowering actions, preparing everyone for what is coming, dealing with the problems that
provides opportunity for employee involvement and motivates people to participate in the actions
and process.
Refreeze

the company is ready to refreeze. Refreezing refers to anchor the changes into the culture,
identifying support to change, identifying the barriers to sustain the change. This stage involves
