1. Overview of the project
The paper mainly reflects on the Northland Community College which is a small college
that was opened in the year 1978. It is found that with time, the college has grown significantly
and now it has a campus at Auckland CBD that mainly helps in catering international students.
The staff of the Auckland campus assists in providing different types of learning resources as
well as exceptional help for fulfilling the requirements of the international students. The main
aim of the organization is to develop a website for the North Tec students so that they can be
able to get proper information related with internship, industry projects as well as future
employment. In addition to this, the college can advertise their effectiveness and can be able to
access new students.
2. Project initiation
2.1 Project selection
NorthTec generally wants to provide support to the bachelor students of applied
management study and therefore they want to create a website so that with the help of the
website, the students can be able to find internship, various industry related projects as well as
opportunities of future employment. In order to develop the website, one need to perform a
research and find out the main need of such website and then planning the entire project
accordingly. It is found that 3 months of time is mainly allocated to the project and the entire
