Report
AI Summary
This report provides an overview of NoSQL and Cloud database technologies, highlighting their key features and benefits. For NoSQL databases, the report discusses multi-model capabilities, easy scalability, flexibility in handling various data types, distributed architecture for global data management, and zero downtime through data replication across multiple nodes. Regarding Cloud databases, the report details features such as self-service on demand, wide network access, resource pooling, rapid elasticity, and measured service for optimized resource utilization and transparency. The document concludes by referencing relevant studies and articles that support the understanding and application of these database technologies.

1DATABASE TECHNOLOGIES
1. NoSQL Database
Five most important features that are included in the NoSQL Database are stated below:
a. Provides Multi-Model- The capability of multi model in NoSQL database helps the
relational database for handling data flexibly (Chandra, 2015). The tables and the columns of the
relational database are accessed as well as analyzed data model capability. There are different
data models that is to be handled for specific requirements application.
b. Easily Scalable- No SQL database helps the scale the data easily and scaling is done
in a cheap way. The No SQL data base software is built with traditional slave master architecture
that helps to scale up bigger hardware. No SQL helps easy scaling for adapting data volume as
well as complexity of the loud applications.
c. Flexible- In relational database, the data re to be put in tables as well as in columns for
accessing and analyzing. But, the No SQL database the multi model capability makes data
handling extremely flexible. No SQL can process the structured, unstructured, as well as semi-
structured data.
d. Distributed- The database of NoSQL is designed for distributing the data at the global
scale (Gabryel, 2016). This means No SQL Database can be used in multiple locations that
involves many data centers or cloud regions for writing and for reading the operations. These
features is not provided by relational database, which uses centralized application for location
dependent.
e. Zero Downtime- The NoSQL database has zero downtime that is allows the user to
copy the data multiple times and those data are to be maintained across the different nodes.

2. Cloud Database
The cloud database features that is provided by them are listed below:
a. Self-Service on Demand- There are computing capabilities that includes server time
as well as network storage are automatically needed without the interaction of human in service
provider.
b. Wide Network Access- The cloud base systems have capabilities that are available
over network as well as accessed via many mechanisms that promotes use of cloud by changing
platforms of client such as laptops, mobile phones, workstations, and tablets.
c. Resource Pooling- Computing resources have many consumers using the model
known as multi-tenant that has different virtual and resources and has physical resources (Lei et
al., 2015). Resource pooling includes a location sense independently where customer does not
control about location of resource that is provided.
d. Rapid Elasticity- All capabilities of the cloud database can be provisioned elastically
and can be released automatically for scaling rapidly outward as well as inward commensurate
with the demand (Tan et al., 2018). Capabilities that are available for provisioning is unlimited
and is appropriate with any number at any time.
e. Measured Service- There are many cloud systems that can controls automatically as
well as optimize using of resource by metering leveraging capability at the abstraction level.
There are many types of services such as processing, user accounts, storage, as well as active
user accounts. The resources are to be monitored, reported, as well as controlled for providing
transparency of consumer and provider.
