Company – For analyzing the internal condition of the
company TOWS have been used.
Threats - Pharma industry is facing high competitions in
the market that is making difficult for the companies to
operate smoothly. So this can overcome the
opportunities of company to grow. It can also give their
subsidies the power of hampering the companies growth.
If competition increases the license permitted by
government can also be weaken. These can act as threat
for company.
Opportunities- Liberal government policies will create
opportunities for producing new products in market.
Government is giving subsidies for carrying research
and development for new medicines. Relief in licensing
of hospital will create demand for pharma products.
Weaknesses: Novartis is not able to manage its operation
effectively for manufacturing the products that increases
costing. Not having enough resources to carry out
research and development for inventing new products.
