• This is expertise of nursing professionals to
acquire and utilize evidence-based scientific

applying therapeutic interventions to patients
in the current scenarios of modern-day
nursing (Bradshaw, 2016)
• to exhibit high quality clinical and technical
skills and proper interpersonal skills and
communicative skills

• can be well associated with the principle 3
• Advise nurses to develop cultural competency where healthcare
professionals need to develop the expertise to deliver healthcare services for
sufficing the cultural, social as well as the linguistic needs of the patients

confidentiality and privacy and hence developing such competency would
help in providing high quality care to patients
