Introduction
A few weeks ago, a meeting was organized in New South Wales, Community Cricket. It was one
of the most exciting opportunities to explore the meeting and its purposes as well. Community
cricket is quite popular in New South Wales and the Cricket matches were more often very
crowded as well. The purpose of that meeting was to organizing some more games based on
community cricket in order to improve community health. The prime focus was to make big
improvements in health of school children and disabled persons as well. Cricket team managers
from each region participated in that meeting, there were around 7 managers make their presence
in that meeting. All the participants were putting their valuable efforts to make the meeting
successful so far.

Communication dynamics
Effective communication is considered to be the key to success of any meeting successful
because it helps to open up the members so the participants can easily exchange their ideas,
views to each other. It will be helpful to achieve the purpose of the meetings. Seven regions such
as Alpine, Central Coast, Hunter, Illawarra, South Coast, North Coast, Western NSW managers
participated in that meeting. The manager from Alpine Cricket team was leading the meeting and
that manager completed its duties very well. A manager from Hunter region was a little late in
that meeting and the manager apologized in a very polite manner to everyone. Each participant
was cheerful and talking in a very light meeting environment which helped to not making the
meeting environment stressful. All seven members have known each other from long time so it
was easy for them to talk except the manager from Central Coast because he was newly
appointed to the manager position and didn’t know the other regions managers well. In starting
of the meeting, the manager of Central Coast was very quiet and only answering in limited
words. Then the leader (Alpine cricket team) understood his discomfort and encouraged him to
participate more effectively. He made him understand that this meeting was such as formal,
boring meetings. The communication between all the members was very open yet formal and
they all were talking more like friends. All members helped the Central Coast manager to open
up and give suggestions. It was kind of friendly environment over there but yet they all were
active listeners and discussed a serious topic with light heads.

Group Goals
The meeting was organized to improve the community health, especially to the school children
and disabled people from the community. In order to achieve that, the community cricket-based
few other games had to organize which was considered as the main purpose of that meeting.
Each manager participated in that meeting very well which would be helpful to make the
meeting very successful as well. At meeting, the managers decided that they will go to organize a
premium league cricket including seven regions of New South Wales. The planning & plotting
of this premium league cricket was discussed in the meeting.
