Project Summary
NSW is a health project which focuses on the patient healthcare service. It provided local and global medical
service. NSW want a login and chat boat system on the website. It wants to improve the communication with
patients and service providers. NSW works in the health industry in New South Wales. It basically focuses on
treatments, medical supplier and user. It implemented according to Studier Group training and programs
(Luxford and Dunbar, 2010).
Service Description
I have chosen NSW health project which worked in the healthcare industry. NSW health project offered the
health service in the local health regions or network in NSW community. It needs online health system which
through the user can connect with the local or global health provider. For the NSW health system, it needs the
computer system (8 GB RAM, operating system,), database (for the stored database), sever, and medical
equipment as hardware and software.
Deliverables
Deliverables Schedule:
NSW healthcare project eight stages such as
Planning and control is the first stage which completed 17 days. It is managed by HR Manager, Project
Engineer, and Software Engineer.
Project organization is the second stage that managed by HR Manager, Project Engineer, and Software
Engineer.
It completed 12 days.
Design and layout completed in 29 days which controlled by IT provider, software Engineer, and
database developer.
Development and coding completed in 35 days which managed by IT provider, software Engineer, and
database developer.
Testing completed in 18 days which tested the project by Test engineer and Software Engineer.
Implement phase managed software Engineer which completed in 3 days.

hours per day. HR manager, software engineer, Testing Engineer, Project Engineer, IT provider, and Database
developer are worked For NSW healthcare project. HR manager handles human resource in the project. Project
Engineer manages the project and controlled each task. Database developer designed the database for the
patients, health provider, medical supplier, and staff. Testing Engineer tests the project according to client need
and organization. IT provider manages all communication media for the NSW project. HR manager takes
$30.00 per hour. Project Engineer takes $35.00 per hour. Software engineer takes $30.00 per hour. Database
developer takes $25.00 per hour.IT provider take $20.00 per hour. Testing Engineer takes $20.00 per hour.

Sub-Contractors
the NSW health care project does not involve the sub-contractors.
Representatives
NSW is a healthcare project which offered the health service in New South Wales. NSW organization want an
online system which contained the user registered and login process, chat boat system, and improved their
health. They also need a location tracker for the e-Ambulance service.
NSW provide the service such as health infrastructure (designed the health program), Transport service
(Ambulance service for the patients care and rescue), Health protection service ( all operation are under
controlled and monitored by NSW organization), and offered the health service in different section like as
(child, family, young person, old person, men and women).
SUBSECTIONS
I. Risks and Assumptions:
The risk in the NSW project
All health industry maintained their patient's record electronic so there is a cyber risk. The third
party is attacked on the Patients data which is a sensitive issued.
Alarm exhaustion is a problem in the care project.
Telemedicine treatments have a negative effect on the patient's health (Doherty, 2015).
Assumptions in the NSW project
NSW used three steps diagnosing preferences Assumptions for the adopt a mindset, developed the
database diagnosis, and Participate the patient in deliberation and conversation (Aller, 2016).
Stakeholders:
A stakeholder is a group the person which takes the decision in the organization. Here, I have explained
the stakeholder for the NSW Project
Hospitals: It offered the health service that includes the NSW project.
8

Doctor: They provide the service in the project.
Peripheral domains: they solved the insurance and diagnosing issue of the NSW project.
Government: They decide the rule for the organization.
Support peripheral domains: They provide the medical supplies for the NSW project.
Patients: They take the service form NSW project
IT providers (database, web developer, project and manager who are managed the online system of
the NSW project)
Database developer: They designed the database for NSW project which store user, doctor, and
medical supplier.
Web developer: They designed NSW web (Cain, 2016).
II. Applicable Standards:
NSW defined the health information and quality of service defined according to the DSS (dataset
specification) standards. DSS supported reliable data, and HAI data (that compares with other
data).
Health care provider and hospitals standards defined according to the Clinical Care Standards
which provide the delivery health service.
NSW teams are designed according to the ACSQHC programs (Safety and quality, n.d.).
III. Acceptance Criteria:
NSW need a system which provides the health care system. System security is a major acceptance
criterion. Patients personal and health information are sensitive data which need more security. It needs
security from cybercrime.
They also need a tracking system for the track the service and ambulance. Tracking system help knew
service delivery to patients or not.
NSW need a login system where the user can login, edit, add, delete, and update their personal details.
IV. Special Requirements or out of scope items:
NSW need the staff such as a doctor, nursing staff, the developer (database developer, web developer,
and software engineer). NSW database must be followed the HDO standards and intrigued with CPR
system. The database must Comprehensiveness and inclusiveness for the NSW system. A web
developer must be experienced min 2 years and know the HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and JQuery

language. Database developer has min 3 years experienced with SQL language. NSW need ambulance
service which offers to serve in the global and local area.

Part B
Project selection is a primary responsibility of Every Company. The project should be suitable for the
predefined selection criteria. Project selection depended on Prioritization which are analysis project
completion time, budgets of the project and financial benefits of the project. Here, I have defined two
project selection methods which are defined following
Benefit Measurement Methods
Constrained Optimization Methods (Valenti, 2010)
Benefit Measurement Methods
It used comparative approaches which compared the benefits with prospective projects and selected a
project that gave maximum benefits. Here I have defined the project Benefit Measurement Methods for
the NSW project.
Scoring Model: the project manager is set different criteria for the different industry. All project
test against the set criteria and calculated the project score. Project manager selected the project
which gets maximum scored because of project match with maximum criteria.
Economic models: Project Manager selected the project according to the economic base so they
used this for the estimate the economic efficiency and also include the calculations of overall
financial data that use in the project.
Benefit contributions: It compared the benefitless contributions different type of project. Project
manager calculated the saving, revenue, and cost for the estimated the cost-benefit analysis. This
method is useful for the short term project and ignores for the long-term project at the current
time.
Cash flow: it a term which defined the cash management in the organization. Income or benefits
are known as Cash inflow and expenses are known as cash outflow. When the organization
defined the cash flow in the positive term which means incoming money is more than outgoing
money. (Patel, 2012).
Constrained Optimization Methods
It uses complex mathematical models approach that success depends on the algorithms and formulae
used in the project. It used linear, integer, dynamic, multiple objective programming, and nonlinear
algorithm for the project selection. The project manager does not need any expert professional to
11

perform all these algorithm or activities. Project manager just needs employees who aware of the tool
and techniques (Patel, 2012).
Impact of not having a business case in Project
In the Project Management, the business case is an integral part that decided the project success. The
business case used in municipal, community, and business project to reduce the cost and complexity. In
the NSW project, business case defined management and parameters factor that describes the project
outline. It guides the project manager to management, design, and cost of the project. NSW project used
the Business case to design a framework for project time and budget, defined the project opportunity,
and scope of the project (Blog, 2010).
