Yes, as mentioned earlier, during the experiment, we have found nuclear energy waste
management and other sources highlight the disease occurred among the employees of the
nuclear energy firm. However, there is less research papers that highlight the list of disease
occurred due to nuclear waste exposure. Thus, we desire to carry a primary research based on a
single nuclear energy plant so that in-depth analysis can be carried out.
2.3 What were the results of your data collection?
We have found that the nuclear energy exposure resulted in the nervous system disease,
gastrointestinal diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and lung, skin, breast and stomach
cancer. We have also found that the impact of the waste exposure on human health can be
divided into many level- no occurrence of death, no-likely occurrence of death, possible chances
of death, likely occurrence of death and permanent death. Thus, we have found that some disease
probably when identified in initial stages can be cured; while, in some cases, there is 50%
chances for the person to or not to survive from the disease. Moreover, in serious case, stem cell
transplantation is required and in rest of the case, the death of the worker is confirmed.
