INTRODUCTION
Numeracy is the use of mathematics in daily life without using complicated skills.
(Akgün and Karataş, 2020). ICT is used to interconnect crosswise world by means of internet.
The research is a very wide topic which is done for considering the study for studying a
particular problem using the scientific methods. It can be defined as the development of the
knowledge using the existing understanding for the particular issue in a creative and innovative
way. This report contains of describing investigation and nature of research. Research principles
are also explained in the report.
MAIN BODY
1. Explain of Meaning and nature of research.
Meaning - It is comprising of two words which are 're' which means again and 'search'
which means to discover new ideas and facts (Jiang, Li and Wang, 2021). This process
includes inquiring, analysing and synthesising the information in a way to find responses
of the unexplained queries. It adds something new to the current thoughts and knowledge.
It provides a technical way to discover out solution of any problem in a structured way.
There are few features of research described as under:
 Systematic- Research is a systematic process conducted in a organised manner in various
steps. Starting from identification of problem followed by clarification of problem and
analyse the data in the end. From the very first step to final steps everything is pre-
planned at the time of framing the research. It is transparent process as everything based
on different evidences and samples.
 Objectivity- This process is biased free from the point of view of researcher. It is
scientific procedure that abolish subjectivity of the researcher. Tester should keep in
mind that his personal attributes does not make part of his research. Following the ethics
of the research process the experimenter would get accurate results.
 Empirical- Evidences are found from the real life experiences and evidences took by the
experimenter (Motta and Sharma, 2020). Observations of researcher is supported by data
to bring accuracy and validity can be achieved.

 Controlled- In study all the sovereign variable is studied in a meticulous way to see the
relevancy on variable. Independent variables can be manipulated in artificial environment
by the researcher that tries to eliminate variables so that the reliability can be obtained. It
is difficult to eradicate the external factors so these are minimised to study the effect of
sovereign factor on dependent variable.
 Action oriented- There is various research which are applied on the basis of different
circumstances and variables (Altaf and Shah, 2018). Research is conducted to solve a
particular problem and its practical application is required to be performed. Actions are
taken according to the problem defined in this statement.
 Enquiring mind- It is a artistic procedure which comprises the procedure of finding and
problematic finding method. It demands good preparation as well as systematising
services which are obligatory to implement steps of investigation. Thus, it is incorporated
with varied thoughts and out of the box rational to spread answers for a precise problem. Rationality and Dependability- Reliability ensures reiteration and validity implies
quality. Reliability is gained by cogency but cogency cannot be gained by reliability.
Though, both are essential for directing investigation but most prominently. Cogency
cannot be overlooked by the investigator.
2. Describing principles of organising research
Ethical values are to be adhered in the research report are given as under,
 Dropping risk of harm- Research description should not damage the physical
comfort, psychosomatic and confidentiality by breaching privacy and obscurity
breaking of participants. Information needs to be occupied by the individual and
other than that different ethics to be followed along with it (Alareeni, 2018). Risk
can be reduced by obtaining information from the participants and take care of
their privacy of data. Deceptive measures are avoided to amplify public interest.
 Obtaining informed consent- It should be on the choice of the individual that
they want to participate or not. Candidate needs to be provided with the detailed
information regarding the use, risk, alternatives and benefits of the research. The
information received should not be biased and should have free consent and not
from compulsions and intimidating.

 Right to remove- In each research procedure there should be facility of
absconding from procedure. Members can quit anytime when they want to exit.
There must not be any force on the minds of participants to remain giving their
responses. They can remove at any stage of investigation procedure.
 Evading misleading policies- It include observes which are in contradiction of
the contributors. Dishonesty is a almost usually experiential in secret
investigation. It signifies a type of research in which intention and identity of
researcher is unknown to its enumerators. It is basically done to avoid the
partiality of the enumerators. But sometimes may comprise in misleading
practices.
