NUR2300: Clinical Challenges in Evidence-Based Nursing Practice

This report investigates the challenges nurses encounter when implementing evidence-based methods in clinical settings. It highlights issues such as managing patient illness beliefs, limited organizational support, knowledge gaps among nurses, the quality of available research, and inadequate staffing. The report synthesizes findings from multiple studies to propose recommendations for practice change, including creating awareness among nurses, fostering inter-disciplinary communication, and providing adequate training to enhance competence and confidence in using evidence-based approaches.
