Overview
1. Executive Summary
This project is primarily based on the development of a suitable primary healthcare model
for the rural and indigenous people of Australia where people lack health awareness as well
as healthcare services. According to a survey published online, at least 75% people from
rural and indigenous areas do not receive even primary healthcare treatment and die from
diseases at much younger ages than usual. It has also been found that the aboriginal people
are even more affected by the problem as they have various determinants against modern
processes like healthcare and others. Of the main diseases that are extensively noticed in
among these people, the most diseases come from food, water and hygiene. While primary
healthcare is not the ultimate solution to the problem, but it certainly be one strong step
towards the development of good healthcare system in the rural areas. Furthermore, the
development of a primary healthcare will also raise awareness among the rural and
indigenous people so that they accept healthcare services to prevent and cure diseases that
are causing untimely deaths or physical complications among them. The initial plan for the
project is to develop a primary healthcare framework with special training to nurses who will
then able to reach the rural areas and provide primary healthcare to the people in those
regions. In addition to the healthcare framework, a suitable educational infrastructure will
also be developed that will host internship and training programs for the graduate nurses.
The overall primary healthcare infrastructure will be developed with a community based
