Nursing’s metaparadigm is comprised of four major concepts which are basic and interrelated
to each other. It is comprised of theories that gives detailed information regarding
disciplinary function. The domains of nursing profession mainly address the person or a
patient, Patient’s well-being and health, environment and nursing interventions. There are
different theories that describe all the concepts according to experience, orientation and other
factors. Metaparadigm provides a detailed structure with regard to functioning and discipline
associated with nursing profession. Each domain exhibits core competencies that are
interrelated with personal, communication skills and for professional development. The

provide clinical evidences. Leadership is another domain should be considered for achieving
goals related with clinical decisions and organization. Leadership is important for clinical
practices, healthcare, professionalism in nursing and health related policies.
