Patient in this case study (Munny), is facing some issues that are causing the mental illness to
him, these issues are related to childhood issues Patient faced during the Khmer Rouge period
in Cambodia in 1975 and patient is deeply affected with the death of his mother. These all
issues were collectively leading the mental illness and recent employment issues Patient’s
faced at the bakery lead the anxiety and fear for the dark future of patient’s family are
measure issues patient is dealing inside the mind. These all have made him very stressed and
anxious and these all may lead Patient to take any big step to cause harm to life (Beech &
Harkins, 2012).

Intervention, in the case of Munny it should be based on the method of building a relationship
to make a change in the health issues. Patient and nurse’s bond will use the communication
round, motivational lectures and leadership that will lead the Patient towards the change in
patient’s health and patient’s mental state. Nurses will regularly consult the positive
communication with Patient and will aware him about the emotional attachment of the
patient’s family with the patient’s life and will make him see the rejection as the next
opportunity. This all will be done by the one nurse to gain believe of Patient’s and this will
discover the other issues the patient is facing (Arkowitz, Miller, & Rollnick, 2015).

Patient’s after getting threat of losing job has become quiet and reserved in nature, these all
are affecting patient’s mental health and causing the rapid changes in patient’s mood and

and he thinks himself as the reason of this all misfortune, Munny is disappointed with the life

Mood swing disorder leads to the mental crises in the patient. To lead the mental health
concern faced by the Patient’s in the form of mood swing disorder can be solved by using the
psychological intervention techniques. These techniques enable the nurses to deal with the
psychological factors and identification of the issues that are responsible for the mood swing
disorder in Patient. Nurse can use the behaviour study and psychological stage of mind
creating issues to the Patient’s. Nurse can regularly check the behaviour of Patient’s and can
note down the regular changes (Sargeant & Bond, 2015).

carrier. These issues affect the psychological-nurses treating the patients facing mental
illness. Accountability for their job is the professional ethics a nurse needs to fulfil in the

issue faced by nurses are contract of good faith with the client. These two issues lead the
challenges in the nursing profession, which a nurse needs to deal with successful treatment of
