Statement (health and social care)

I am ABC and I am from healthcare background. My interest is in healthcare sector to become a
successful medical professional for supporting people in society for improving their better health
condition and improving their standards. I am interested in medical field because it provides me
an opportunity to do something for others and support people to secure their lives. My main
interest is to pursue the course of nursing in order to gain appropriate skills for performing
clinical practices and procedures. I am average in studies but I can do better in my interested
subject. I am studying the XYZ college where there are number of subjects related to science
field but I have more interest in Biology or medical sector. I have selected the choice of nursing
because I would like work as nurse to remain attendant in hospital wards in order to deliver care
and support to people for their wellbeing. Meanwhile, my previous study is all about science
including botany, zoology and chemistry. The topics were more interested and I want to study
about life and human beings in detail for providing healthcare services for wellness of citizens. I
believed that nursing profession is helpful to me for performing my specific duty to improve
health status of citizens living in the country. I can work hard for humanity and put efforts for
increasing quality and standards of living of people.
In context of my nursing course, I want to study in PQR College because of its better education
programs and strategy of providing learning. It is helpful for me to increase my knowledge level
by clarifying my all the concept relevant to nursing along with increasing my skills to perform
the clinical procedures. Meanwhile, I want to pursue my course of nursing from the selected
college because of its effective teaching procedures and practical activities which make me
capable to carry out all the clinical procedures in more effective as well as efficient manner. I
want to study my nursing in this college because I feel that it is helpful to increase my experience
of performing practical during my course which enhances the clinical skills. However, my
academic skills are average but this college make me able to sharpen my clinical abilities which
facilitate to perform my work in future properly. It is helpful for me to gain placement in reputed
healthcare organisation to have bright future in this field.
