Nursing Assignment 2
Education inequity is distribution of inadequate academic resources to schools. Some of
these resources I discovered include books, qualified teachers, high technology and school
funding which exclude the community socially. Most of these communities I have visited are
oppressed and disadvantaged historically. The individuals I discovered are denied access to those
education centers with enough and abundant resources. Inequality in most of education centers
has brought major educational differences of success making the students to suppress mobility of
the community in both socially and economically.
There some of factors that I have discovered cause some education inequity in the
education sector. These factors include
Socioeconomic factors
In most cases I found wide gap which exists in between the poor and the rich in each
community I visited. I discovered that it has brought education inequalities making the whole
nation to demand equal education opportunities to individuals. I found that wealthy people take
their children to expensive schools and also buy them books (Sullivan, 2011). Also, I found those
areas with more resources tend have more advanced schools than those areas which lack none.
For the equal distribution of education resources, the gap between the poor and the rich
must became narrow. This will enable all students to fit in one school without the school for the
rich and school for the poor. This will make the government to concentrate in providing the
resources in all schools equally without concentrating on schools for the rich.
Culture
The areas I visited, culture in tend to influence the level of education as they do not allow formal
education. Although these children will go to school nobody will be concerned to encourage

them or give them some morale support as parents are reluctant (Ginsburg, 2018). Also they will
not be concerned in providing the required resources for education. I also visited other areas
where they encourage education and parents are concerned with their siblings’ education making
them to do the best especially abroad.
Culture of every community is important but every community should know that
education is more important than everything else. This will enable the every community to
encourage the students to go to school and learn without intimidation. This will make education
equal to all communities.
Religious beliefs
Both locally and globally I found that different areas have different beliefs which can
vary with the requirements of formal education. Some religions support education thus becoming
easier for them to provide the resources need for the education while there are other religions that
do not support education (Adamson, 2015). These religions most of time they are not willing to
provide the resources to education. This makes some areas to be ahead in education while others
are lagged behind.
Every religion is supposed to support education. In most cases education brings some
light to religious people thus making them to have better future for tomorrow. Those religions
that do not support education should know that education is the only to success.
Disability factor
In most areas I found that disabled individuals are not paid attention academically. Most of them
both locally and globaly are not able to access the education because most of their parents have
detained them in their homes (Roza, 2017). Most the people say that taking the disabled to

school is segregating thus there is no importance of taking them to school. This makes them to
remain at home making them to be lagged behind in terms of education.
All children deserve education whether disabled or not. Thus, equal education should be
given to all students regardless of their situations. Every student is supposed to be given the
required resources for his or her education.
Gender factor
In most areas I visited, I found that opportunity of education for girls is very low compared to
education of boys. This is because most of the families connect the girls with household chores
which boys do not demand thus making most of girls to remain at home without education and
others drop out of school (Mingat, 2013). Also some other girls are married early before they go
through education. This made the boys to get more resources to education as compared to girls.
All children are the same thus they should be given equal education, whether a girl or a
boy.
In conclusion, Inequity in the distribution of education resources exists in many parts of
this world. Thus every nation is supposed to make sure that there is fair contribution of education
resources to every student who needs it. This will bring equality in the education sector.
