INTRODUCTION
Q1 What are the implications for the patient, Susan, and her husband regarding symptom
management and access to care given their relative isolation and diminished access to
health care?
As Susan is overweight and she is suffering from the Type 2 diabetes, she would
be facing various associated symptoms like fatigue, no weight loss and lack of proper
motivation. She is taking oral medication from 6 months after being diagnosed for diabetes.
Also, she has denied the severe symptoms like polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia, blurred vision
and vaginal infection. During health assessment, registered nurse finds out that during afternoon,
Susan's energy level went down and she feels tearful (Halter, 2017). She stated that she was
diagnosed with depression. She also told that she is not taking her anti-depressants, which were
prescribed to her. She has gained enormous weight and when she tried to cut down the food
intake, she had symptoms of shakiness, diaphoresis and increased hunger. She is also fearful to
get hypoglycaemia and often eats a lot.
This all occurred as she and her husband were unknown to various implications of the
symptoms and this led to the poor management of her diabetes. Susan and her husband were less
knowledgeable to understand various symptoms of diabetes and will look after effective handling
of various measures that would have led to effective rise in health conditions of patient. She and
her husband would have taken an effective precaution to prevent any sort of further deterioration
of her health condition. This would have saved her life and she would have been in effective
health condition that would have led to significant rise in health condition of Susan. The
depression and avoiding intake of antidepressant has added further in ruining of the health
condition of Susan. Her husband, being unknown to different implications of various symptoms
that are been taken into proper consideration to tackle diabetes also led to ruining of her health
condition (Urden, Stacy and Lough, 2015).
Looking at conditions and various symptoms that have occurred in Susan, she and her
husband would have taken appropriate and significant measures to control further increase in the
blood and body sugar level. They had adopted proper treatment and had taken the appropriate
medications that helped them to a better idea about different measures which would have been in
the effectively improved her health condition in a better way. Also, considering increase in her
body weight, Susan should have taken appropriate measure to cut down her snacks intake and

had opted for healthy food consumption. This would have not only helped her to control body
sugar level but also would have impacted on the better growth and development of healthy and
safe way to maintain body weight. Her husband would have been supported her to take proper
medications and other drugs to have an effective control over her diabetes.

The Registered nurse will be the concerning person who would effectively look after
providing of better health care services to an individual person or his/her family. They will
effectively see through better management of various operations which will help in providing of
effective health care services. In this case, Registered Nurse will look after various health care
measures that are required to be taken into effective consideration. Apart from this, it helps in the
significant adoption of various operations that will contribute to rise in health condition of Susan.
She will provide her with the proper medication to control her type 2 diabetes and weight gain.
The effective usage of various medication will help in significant increase in different operations
which will help in proper handling of various symptoms of diabetes, that are been shown by
Susan (Monsen And et.al., 2015).
Also, she will help Susan's husband, Paul, who is accompanying her to give proper
information or knowledge that is taken into effective consideration to tackle the various
complications and issues that are caused due to high level of body sugar and depression. This
will also support the better management of the different operations which will help in effective
rise in various operations. Other than this, RN will help in taking various effective measures to
safeguard others from the disease by increase in information and knowledge level that will help
in effective handling of the different functions that will help in better execution of different
measures which will help in betterment in condition of Susan and her family.
The Nurse will help Susan to take various exercises and other effective measures to
reduce its weight count and normalise her blood pressure. Te reduction in the weight, proper
medication by the Registered Nurse and better support from the family will help Susan to
effectively reduce its sugar level and control her diabetes to a greater extent (Ta Park and et.al.,
2018). This will also help in the better improvement of the health condition of the family as this
will increase the health care level in the family and will increase and improve their knowledge

about the various implications and the measures taken for the better management of the different
measures that are been taken into consideration. The rise in the health care condition will help in
the better handling of the different operations that will help in the significant rise in the different
health care measures taken by a Registered Nurse (Brown and et.al., 2017). Other than this, the
registered nurse will look down in the effective rise in the body glucose level and the intake of
the Susan to keep an effective check on the diabetes and other possible complications of the
diabetes that will help in the better handling of the different operations which will help in having
the effective control over the various diseases that are been taken into the effective consideration
by the Registered Nurse for Susan.

standards for the Registered Nurse would support the actions of the Registered Nurse
identified in Question 2 and why?
The social justice framework will effectively help in the better management of the
different operations that will help in the significant rise in the different operations of the
company. Other than this, the legal operations will help in the effective rise in the various
operations which will help in keeping effective check on the various diseases and the problems
that are been faced by the Susan. The Social justice framework will help the Registered Nurses
to take into consideration the various measures that will help in the significant increment in the
standards of the health and social care services that will lead to the significant rise in the various
operations (Kaakinen And et,al., 2014). This will guide the social care employee's as well as the
Registered Nurses to take effective measures to provide the better health care service to the
patients or clients like Susan.
Besides this, the different professional, ethical and practice standard of the Registered
Nurse in the health and social care will help in the effective handling of the providing of better
health care measures to the patients or clients. The code of conduct and code of ethics will help
in better growth of the different healthcare measures that will be provided by the Registered
Nurses at health care centres. Other than this, the professional practices that are been followed by
the organisation will also help in the better execution of different health and social care services
at the organisation. For instance, A Registered Nurse will effectively follow the procedure to
diagnose and identify the health issues as per the practice standards of Susan and will prove the
better medical service to control her diabetes and depression by giving the proper health care

services and medication. This will help in the better management of the various diseases and the
measures or the procedures that are been followed to tackle them in a very effective way.
Besides this, the practice standards will help in the better management of the different
functions that will help in the improvement of the health conditions of patients and increase their
knowledge in an effective and significant manner to tackle the various operations in a better way.
This will help in the better rise in the effective health care conditions of the patients or the clients
of the health care centre. This will help Registered Nurses to provide them a better treatment to
the customers or clients and effectively increase their health condition (Hartmann and et.al.,
2016). Also, the Standard of practices that are been decided by the governing body of the
Registered Nurses will help in the significant rise in the executions and adoption of various
health care measures.
