INTRODUCTION
Caring is one of the most important quality and function of the health care and nursing.
This helps to build trust with between consumers and health care professionals. People think that
being kind is what caring is about. Nurses have to be kind and attentive to patient needs. Caring
is the moral idea of nursing where the end purpose is protection of the patient, enhancement and
prevention of the human dignity (Sekse, R.J.T., and et. al., 2018). In this report different
understanding of caring between healthcare consumers and registers nurses is going to be
analyse in context to the Australian healthcare context.
MAIN BODY
Healthcare consumers perception about the care is refers as the patient view services
received, result of the treatment and effective way of monitoring, assessing and delivering of
quality of health care services which add as the positive experiences of patient (Timmins, F., and
et. al., 2018). According to some study's health caring is the comprises of the broad term, which
involve various aspects of patient care, caring is related to the effective, safe, patient- centred,
timely,equitable and efficient nursing practices and services. One of the most important aspect
caring is patient safety.
NMBA
The nursing and midwifery board of Australia nursing care is the effective care practices
which should be done on the basis of Health practitioner regulation national law. According to
the nursing care code of conduct, caring should be done with the application of effective
evidence based structure this sets the standard's of professional behaviour which is illustrated
below.
Nursing standard's 6cs of caring
Critical thinking- According to this standard
of nursing, caring is the process which
involves the strategic thinking and use of
available evidence in decision making process
to provide safe and quality of care (Baillie, L.,
2017).
Therapeutic and professional relationship-
Care is the right of patient and have to be
consistent.
Compassion- care should be provided with
empathy respect and dignity.
Competence – care should be provided by
understanding the individual health and social

approaches, to provide best care . Such as the
partnership approach in caring helps to

practices. They have to make regular changes
on care plan according to the outcomes

According to the R Riyaz (2008) healthcare consumers are having their own perception
they illustrated that they want caring which should involve the home like facility's. On the basis
of healthcare consumers caring is the process which should provide all services same as the
holistic care objectives. It has been evaluated that most of the patient is had poor perception
regarding expectation, regarding, explanation and information aspects of nursing care.
According to the health care users caring is about effective implementation of all approaches like
information, quality, responsiveness, availability. Their perception about the care is that they
should be informed about the intervention ans plan related to their transition from the acute
hospital setting to their home. Caring is about giving the opportunity to patient for sharing their
issues and this should be facilitated with proper management of place and medication and
effective rush free area (Bromley, P., 2018).
CONCLUSTION
From the above study it has been concluded that nursing perception bout caring is that
they should provide the effective care by following the care standard's and 6Cs. Healthcare users
perception about caring is that they should get effective support from the starting of hospital care
until the end, they think that care is about providing all essential support and information to
them. Then think that caring is the process which involves support and guidance at each stage.
