of health topics. The purpose of this research is to learn about primary care nurses' perceptions of
how the media affects frontline healthcare.

successfully handle media reports that contradict current health policies and practices in an ever-
expanding media landscape with more reporting on health. The media also provides health-

influenza from the media, such as television, as well as more official sources, such as
newspapers.
