Experience in this
Course
The most significant learning experience I have selected related
to the CLPNA competency is when I attended the NFDN maternity
theory which deals with significant human anatomy, psychological as
well as physiological changes during pregnancy. During the lessons, I
was able to have valid understanding of various changes which takes
place to a mother during pregnancy and can apply the experience when
tackling my clinical placements.
What I Learned Through this learning experience, I acquired knowledge on the
changes taking place to a mother during pregnancy as well as various
factors resulting to such changes. I also learnt that human anatomy
changes, psychological and physiological are adaptation mechanism
caused by hormonal influence to sustain growth. As a nurse specializing
in maternity clinical I would use this knowledge to offer accurate
teachings during duty.
