1ORGANIZATION ANALYSIS - BIRMINGHAM GREEN
Introduction
Birmingham Green is an organization-providing healthcare and residential care services
since 90 years. They provide these services at affordable prices with high quality of care to the
adults with specific health requirements and needs, present in the settings of their three services
(Northern Virginia Health Care Centre, two facilities for living- Willow Oaks and District
Home). Because of their commutable geographic location (8605 Centreville Rd.
Manassas, VA 20110-8426), the staff of the organization helps the adults to remain in touch with
their peers and the location services also provide effective and efficient resources required for the
care and treatment (Birmingham Green, 2019). The organization provides services of
rehabilitation, nursing care, living care and long-term care and treatment. The organization has a
holistic approach towards their care and treatment facilities.

relationship of the staffs, which is not confined only with the patients but the roots of
relationship is extended towards the patient’s family and friends.
Strengths and Limitations
The organization’s procedure of providing efficient and effective treatment in affordable
prices and the treatment and care of high quality, with effective medications and professional
assistance are the major strength of the organization. Apart from their services, the commutable
geographic location is also their strength, because it helps the patients to see their friends and
families more frequently (Birmingham Green, 2019). The organization’s major effective holistic
approach towards adult patients rather than younger patients is the limitation, along with the
organization’s poor economic productivity.
Care Delivery System
The nurses, caregivers and therapists assist the patients in every possible way. They try to
contribute the efficient care and treatment plan for the patients, in the courses of rehabilitation,
living care, nursing care and long-term care and support. The mechanism of administering
patients individually, through the organization’s three facility settings in the campus itself,
proves for effective care delivery systems. They teach their nurses and individuals willing to
assist patients, about the course Nursing free of cost, by giving tuitions. Another way they
effectively administer care delivery system by respecting the confidentiality of the health
information of the patients (Birmingham Green, 2019).

her with effective medications of painkillers, and guided her, the effectiveness of physiotherapy
and other therapies useful for reducing such joint pains (Walters, et al., 2013). They advised her,
