PERSONAL STATEMENT
I have always been highly passionate about providing care services to the person who has
been seeking care. My key objective is to obtain employment as enrolled nurses and improve my
knowledge within the nursing practice in aged care field. I have key skills and capabilities to
perform nursing duties which helps me in assisting people who wants care services. The skills
and abilities which are complied within me mainly includes software skills, ambitious, effective
hand to eye coordination, highly motivated, professionally well presented and is highly self
driven. My key area of interest in the nursing is to assist others in the personal development and
it is significant in assisting others to effectively promote learning. I would like to communicate
with the others and provide suitable nursing intervention. I have an experience as a nurse and
personal care worker to assist the people who are in need of care services. I hold a Diploma of
nursing from Equals International, Adelaide. I also hold Certificate 3 in aged care and Certificate
3 in Disability care from K.M.C. Community Centre, Salisbury North. I have completed my
Bachelors of Arts from Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Having completed my degree, I knew that career as healthcare practitioner will be
challenging. The clinical exposure in Calvary Hospital will be the excellent opportunity for me
to effectively observe the current procedures and helps in gaining the wide set of medical
knowledge to respond effectively to the needs of the patients. Working with the Calvary
Hospital will help in providing comprehensive placement experience to the person who has been
seeking care. I completely understand the code of ethics which is very crucial for carrying out
the professional nursing practice. I also have years of experience working with aged care
residents to provide care services. Currently, I have been working as a nurse at Gloucester
Residential Care Ingle Farm. I assist patients in improving the social and emotional well-being of
the patients. I have prominent experience in the manual handling and also assist elders in specific
day to day activities.
A residency within the adult care is highly significant in preparing me for the career goals
in order to become a certified adult nurse and provide the high quality best possible care services
to the patients. I always interact with the patient and try to understand their needs of care.
Providing the patients with the best possible intervention and care treatment is useful in
delivering the best possible services to the person seeking care services. Working with the
Calvary Hospital will help me in making strong medical profession by developing key skills and

knowledge related with the nursing practice. It will help me in gaining relevant set of training
and also enhance my skills to deliver the best care services. This will enhance my professional
skills and improve the health outcomes. I am extremely passionate about delivering the best care
services to the patient and grow the career within this field by working in Calvary Hospital.
