Statement of Philosophy
Record your statements of philosophy of Nursing and of personal philosophy. Explain how these
are reflected the values, vision, and personal interests that you recorded in your “My Vision and
Interests” tool.
As I have taken the path of service to all the helpless and weak people I will be honest with my
profession. I commit myself to be e a better person and serve my patients at my best. I will gain
knowledge every day and apply those to my service and decisions (Mackintosh-Franklin, 2016). I
shall guide all my fellow nurses in such a way that they also can find the meaning of their passion
to provide best care to the patients. My personal philosophy is to take care of each patient without
any biasness but compassion and empathy so that I can be a representative of God to them
(Squires et al., 2017).

Develop a list of prioritized goals based on your assessments. Goals must be stated in

I have been pursuing my graduation in the nursing course which will be completed within few
months. After that I have a goal to become a nurse leader so that I can guide others to be efficient
in caregiving. I will be working to grow my competency every day and understand my specialty so

nursing organization so that I can learn more and expand my knowledge. I believe in my goal
