Nursing staff need to consider number of frameworks effectively in order to overcome
such kind of values. By having an application of health care act, mental act and other policies the
work environment can be advanced. Present report is focused towards understanding the
significance of diverse values and policies for the organisation.
MAIN BODY
Nursing activities are being concerned as most significant aspect for health care sector.
By having an improved focus on overall learning regarding nursing staff the issues can be
discussed effectively. There are number of norms and frameworks which need to be considered
by nursing professionals so that overall work standards can be advanced in critical manner. It has
been witnessed that classification of frameworks can be as Social policy, Equity Act 2010,
Human Rights Act 1998 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 (Lane and Tribe, 2016). By having an
understanding in regard to such values the issues can be deal effectively. It is significant for
nursing staff to have consideration of Equality Act because it allows to have better protection
against discrimination activities. It means ethical work practice in health care practice can be
advanced effectively. Along with this, Equality Act streamlines and harmonises the law on
discrimination and equality, bringing together over 100 pieces of legislation. It also provides
better balancing among all groups so that key goals and objectives can be taken into account. It
helps in improving work performance and service standards so that better protection can be
offered to customers as well as staff members (Mackay and et.al., 2012).
In addition to this, it can be stated that reference of human right is necessary to consider
because it allows to advance fair practice. Human rights are not just another challenge for a
highly pressured health and social care sector to meet. If nursing staff is not aware of human
rights and services are not offered in appropriate context then overall outcome might get affected
effectively. By having advancement in knowledge or awareness of human rights act the key
