CRITICAL REFLECTION
PART A
While working in a group, the basic responsibility was to stay focused, calm and have
patience. It is important because when we are working in a group, there are various different
types of people and everyone has their own idea of thoughts (Forster & Pagnamenta, 2015).
Also, it is not necessary that our idea will match with their one, so sometimes it can cause
clashes. So, I have realised that while working and presenting the ideas patiently can help in
making more efficient results. Thus, it helped me in reaching at better conclusions. My role was
to make a management plan for Bob so that it can help him with the arterial ulcers he was having
on his toes. Although there was a bit confusion and mis understanding when we all presented our
ideas but, it was managed. It is obvious that a single mind can have a few ideas but when many
minds sit together, various different ideas pop out of the same. My strategy to successfully
achieve all the tasks and have a better interaction with every group member was that no matter
what situation is, I will deal with proper patience and also, I will make sure to listen idea and
concepts of each one. It can prove effective enough because listening to the ideas and thoughts of
people can help in expanding the self knowledge of the person ( Blagojevic & Castellani, 2016).
So, at such times, it is obvious to have confusions and mis understandings. But what I did is that
I tried to deal the matter with all patience, make their understood my point and they did the same.
Thus, it was negotiated and finally, we all reached to a conclusion. Dealing with patience was
my strategy to deal with every other group member. During the team collaboration, some
members were late also and it somehow affected as well because it wasted our huge amount of
time. It is because we all were supposed to have a discussion but as few members were late, we
had to suffer because of it. But to overcome the problem, they came and we all started discussing
the topic so that no more time can get waste and we can keep our focus on that. However, it all
was managed as well as we managed to complete the discussion and the project on time.

Answers
I felt working in a team as much effective because if I have worked alone, I must be
having two to three ideas but as I was working in team, I was accompanied with enormous ideas
of every single person.

Also, on the basis of so many ideas, it was helpful to decide the most effective one so that
it can help us in achieving the targets and goals. I realised these ideas because I got the
opportunity to work in a team. It provided me an efficient and appropriate experience that can
help me in further assignments as well. My thoughts and feeling for working in the team arisen
because I got the opportunity to work in the team, have interaction with each other etc. While
working in a team, we get to know various factors that helps us during that time and also, in
future as well. Therefore, I think we should take such opportunities as it helps in increasing the
rate of confidence and also provides a sort of motivation that can help one in achieving any
possible factor in life.
I entered with a positive attitude. Although, I knew that there might be some complex
conditions or misunderstandings when we all will speak but I was confident enough that
whatever will be the situation, I will manage it in a very positive way. When the discussion get
started, initially, we all started speaking and it was so messy that we were not able to hear each
other's point or idea. Then, after a while, everyone understood that it is difficult to speak and
listen something in this situation, so everyone become silent. Then, we all started one by one. We
all cooperated because we knew that everyone should get a chance to speak their thoughts. So,
we all started one by one.
Everyone put their views in front of every body. When we all finished, some people
started demotivating the other by making their own thoughts stronger. At the end, we all reached
to a conclusion after discussing all the ideas properly. We focused on every single idea and
checked that what can be beneficial for Bob as in the management plan. Keeping the focus on it,
we managed to reach to a conclusion that seems relevant and suitable enough for the situation
Bob was suffering. Initially we faced issues but then the team worked cooperatively and had a
positive discussion through which we all were able to reach to a conclusion.
Working in a team acts as a great experience (Greer, Foman & Dorrian, 2015). I got to
learn many factors such higher confidence levels, self motivation etc. that will prove beneficial
enough in my future life as well. Also, working in a team helps in providing enough confidence
that I can make use of to achieve any risk or challenging factor in my life. Although it is obvious
that working in a team is not easy because one have to listen to each of the ideas, deal with
patience because verbal war between team members can start at any time (Federman & Hopf,
2016). I think dealing with proper patience is the essential key factor that can help in having an
