1: What does being a nurse mean to you? In your response include your value, beliefs, qualities
and personal identify as a nurse?
In this, for me nursing is not a job. Being a professional nurse it is very important to
follow values, qualities and belief while providing support and care to the patient because they
trust to nurse when they deliver quality of support and health. It also means being up to date with
the best practice. It also shows essentials aspect that include treatment of the patient and
colleagues with the dignity, kindness, respect and compassion (Booth et. al., 2021). They also
create understanding which is based on the NMC code of conduct. It also provides me
opportunity which empower the patient and their families with aspect to knowledge. When I
used to see that a patient creates understanding for their process which is related with the disease
and the plan of care, it is formulate good feeling within me. Moreover, nurse have the ability that
they bring understanding and peace during what can be a confusing or challenging period for the
other and for themselves (Hopia & Heikkilä, 2020).
2: Share an aspect of your own culture and explain how it can influence your practice as a nurse?
It is very important to follow the aspect of culture because the cultural competence is the
nursing aids show the growth and development of the nurses. Moreover, they are useful in the
incorporation of society. In may aspect the culture belief provide support to the moral and
personal value which help to provide support and care for the other within the nursing
profession. In this, the cultural competence which include in nursing show the ability for their
belief, race and value. Moreover, they used to entail in order to having the knowledge of the
patient’s cultural diversity and treating with them with the core of mind (Karatuna, Jönsson, &
Muhonen, 2020).
3: How can you make an impact on society as a nurse?
The nurses used to play an essential role within the society which is being advocates for
the health promotion. In addition to this, they are used to educate the public and the patient
which help to prevent the injury and illness that show the concept participating and providing
care and support (Stievano et. al., 2019). The nurses usually play role in the core develop of
communication and interaction while supporting the individual which help to formulate quality
based aspect for the social group and community. As a nurse the vision of the nurse is to provide

support and care to the number of people that must be taken with the different aspect which may
create great impact on the society and community (Mannino et. al., 2021).
4: How do you think can you demonstrate a commitment to the nursing profession?
In this, the commitment to the profession of nursing is having and providing training,
research and career which help to show the aspect of progression which is based on
opportunities. They also used to take commitment in order to develop clinical academic career
for the nurses and midwives which help to build the nursing and midwifery evidence base (Pesut
et. al., 2020).
