Norms of the culture
The culture of New Zealand is guided by western culture. It is geographically and
environmentally isolated. The country has a strong relationship with the “Mother England”. The
people of New Zealand are generally called as Kiwis and follows the Maori Culture which us
native to the country. The culture of the country is very similar to that of other countries as the
families and relatives get together on special occasions (Commis CEO, 2019). The people of
New Zealand believe in sharing. They have a belief that by sharing of food and other things they
can make bring people together. Drinking socially is in the culture of the country. The people of
New Zealand are very friendly and open-minded. They have a habit of smiling when looking at
somebody, even if it is a stranger. They have a culture of speaking prayer before having any of
their meals.
Customs
The customs of the country are very common. They always take off their shoes when they enter
the home. The people of New Zealand may kiss on other's checks while greeting. They do not
like standing in crowded areas as they come from a place of wide open spaces. The people in the
country do not like to share their personal information with anyone. Helping others is the
practice of all, and the people there are very kind-hearted. They love to celebrate any occasion or
party just for the sake of fun. They maintain eye contact while interacting with others which
shoes their level of confidence.

Values
Talking about the values of the country, the population of New Zealand believes in strict follow
of the social rules and ethical values. They have a value of welcoming people. It is appropriate to
say that they embrace and encourage hospitality. They have strong indulgence in the women
empowerment. They believe in practising ethical values in the workplace even. Another value
which they have is that they are proud to be the native of New Zealand. Kiwis are proud of their
country (Commis CEO, 2019).
Beliefs
The people of New Zealand treat disrespect of women as a blunder. As they believe in women
empowerment, in their opinion, respecting women and feminism are fair and must be practised
by everybody around the world. This is also true for all the other countries in the world. They
think that preserving the environment and the resources is the current need of the country as well
as the world. It is fair for them for not having any social discrimination on the grounds of social
class structures as they do not have any formal social class structures (Newzealand now, 2019).
Creating Awareness about the culture
The awareness about this amazing culture can be created by the use of social media as social
media is the only platform that connects people from all over the world.
