1 Project Outline
In this project, we first have made an industry visit, analyzed its number of rooms, computers in each
room, and network requirements to be fulfilled. Then a diversified network has been designed including
20PCs that are interconnected through 6 switches. Component cast off are designed in this network for
one department, placing of host at one AP. Further AP’s are connected via router by switches. Proper
configuration and testing is applied to the whole network components such as hosts, switches and
routers. A proper hardware requirement plan with timeline estimation is also attached in report.
Industry Visit
On visiting obbario offices, with almost 20 rooms in a department are available. Evidence of the visiting
is in appendix for reference.
Meeting with Industry Professional: Data gathered for network design
Network system in industry was totally unforgettable because of management as well as the designs. In
industry there were different departments and each department is connected with the central unit.
Every department was communicated with the other department through Network system. The pcs
which were using departments called host and each of them are connected with the router via switches.
The router was making VLAN with the other networking communication with other connected routers
. To understand this system I tried to learn the protocol which they were following in order to
maintain the network systems.
2 Design of Network for Obbario Offices
In the below image Network system is designed according to this 20 pc’s are attached with the 6
different switches which are combined different departments and these 6 switches are connected with
the 3 router which make the VLAN [1]. Every router is connected with its adjacent router via a line are
able to communicate via specific protocol.

Figure 2: Creating vlan
Network system is designed according to the given instruction of above and in this networking system
the component which are used are designed for the one department in which all the hosts are
connected at one access point and that point is connected with the router through the switch [2].

Usage of Static and Dynamic Routing
In Network system, selection of techniques varies according to the industry, for instance, in case of small
industry ,I will prefer the RIP protocol as there are limited hosts and OSPF which will follow routing
which is dynamic and in the given network the open shortest path first protocol is followed and this
protocol provides the efficient routing in an industrial level [3].
At industrial level the departments are divided into different parts and sub parts in the above design
static routing is used in the sub parts and in essential departments dynamic router is used.

In the blow command prompt, the address of one pc 192.168.1.0 is pinged with the other pc and also
second pc is replying [4]. Similarly, communication of every pcs can be connected with one another. The
ping cammand is working for every device, this command ensure that the packet of information can be
send from one node to another node. After sending the packets the positive response can be achieved.
