Obesity is a complex issue among among adults in UK which means there are too much
body fat in the body which causes stress and overweight and affect their mental and physical
health.
Main cause of Obesity:
Obesity is caused by consuming more calorie products.
Intake of more junk foods and sugar causes obesity.
Consumption of too much alcohol causes obesity.
Lack of physical activity causes obesity(Mokdad and et.al ., 2003).
Obesity is also caused due to genetic problem.
Major medical conditions like underactive thyroid gland and cushing's syndrome also
causes obesity.
Poor diet and eating out in restaurants cause obesity.
Increase in consumption of processed and packaged foods causes obesity.
High consumption in salt and saturated foods leads to increase in obesity.
Prevention of obesity
For the prevention of obesity we should encourage the children to rat healthy food and
take proper diet .
To prevent obesity one must do proper exercise and indulge in physical activity .
To prevent obesity we need to change the habit of the of eating and also focus on the
weight of the people .
