The context of the case study
Two observations are relevant in this case; the child is reaching the exercise book with the
help of her mother. She is using her right hand to crawl on the floor and finally reach the
book. Another observation made is when the child is in her tent, trying to balance herself
off, she does this diligently and careful as her supervisor watches.
The actions in the case study observation
This activity is done with the help of her mother who has been supportive in her care and
ensuring that Lydia is able to reach the book. The child is crawling using her hand and
actively being motivated by her mother to reach the book. She seems to be a lot motivated
and hence the passion to crawl using her right hand despite the disability portrayed by her
left hand. On the other observation the child is trying to gain confidence in the tent while
supporting her. Lydia seems motivated and encouraged by her mother who doubles up to
be her mentor and supervisor at this critical time.
Learning aspects in relation to observed actions
Through my visual assessment I have noticed that Lydia is upbeat and really motivated to perform
the functions she is doing. She so much happy with the support and company she is being given.
This has made it possible for her to be able to learn things faster and be a faster learner despite
her disability. The ability to interact with other children of her age has been crucial in ensuring she
gets the support system is guaranteed. This observation has exposed the child to quality teaching
which ensures successful learning process. Some of the aspects linked to learning outcomes

As evidential Lydia is so much cooperative and if given extra support a lot of learning
abilities will; be developed for the child to grow actively. Showing love to the child and care is
