Observation 1
In the first video a bus full of children was being shown that were directed towards old age home
consisting of 11 residents. The experiment was done to solve problems related to building of stress and
depression in older people due to loneliness. As per the observation Tyrone seems to be very shy and is
less likely to communicate with new people. However, further in the week by performing attractive activities
the goal was to shift both generation out of their comfort zones.
Interpretation
Modern medication have increased life expectancy in Australia however, the quality of life is still very poor.
In the provided week video identification of new individuals and interaction among them take place.
Communication was majorly focused in the provided week.

Observation 2
For this week, Aiden one of the child was being taken into consideration in RSL ANZAC VILLAGE. For the
provided week challenges with their cognitive function (Memories) were being concentrated. Throughout the
week number of different activities were being conducted. Such activities contributed towards creating a
more socialized and friendly environment.
Interpretation
In given Inter-generational experiment that listed number of games activities out of all the main activity to
boost memory of children with adult residents were being highlighted. In the activity participants were
being told to get out of the giant maze of which they were being briefed in the house earlier in the day.
Winner first place were Irene and Buddy.
Second position was hold strongly by Shirley and
Isabelle and third were
Shirley S and tyrone.

Observation 3
In the provided week i.e. Week-4, Social isolation major reason for depression was being taken into
consideration. For the provided week grappling one of the most confronting issues in nursing home low
mood and depression was being observed.
Interpretation
Making choco chips biscuits.
Eric risked with going bare feet in cold water.
Introducing parents of children to old squad of 11.
Sherley is in depression with 8 scale and bryan with 9 out of 15.
Bryan cant see well and cant perform well as before.
Break the cycle by activities.

Changing habits and open to new experience was being focused in the provided video week. It can be
observed that sports day challenges were being announced and the participants were being divided into
two teams which were named by two colors i.e. Red and Blue. Various tasks like changing schedule
throughout the week were being dine for instance children read newspaper found it boring though.

Observation 5
The given week was regarded with the last meet of children to old residents of the village. In the provided
video which was also treated as the result week. In the provided video preparation for concert was being
taken place and visuals of concert dress and other stuff was being presented. It was being observed that,
children were amazed to experience variety of activities during the week and build self confidence over
which would be helpful for performing well in their careers.
Interpretation
Improvements in old people.
Celebration of their time together.

In this video, there was playing, learning as well as learning through the play for the children.
There are different developments being discussed which a child undergoes while playing which
includes the following-

Interpretation
What do you understand about the observation?
In this observation, it is been interpreted that the child undergoes different stages to develop
itself emotionally, socially, physically and creativity. It acquires self-confidence, coordination,
and other aspects while playing with others. For instance, the child has the conversation with its
family, friends which helps it to understand its language well and different skills are also
developed while playing game such as bricks game to learn about mathematics such as shapes,
number, etc. playing with dough helps in forming different shapes, etc.
