the occupational therapy which has helped the elderly women to address their fundamental task
of toileting. It justifies how occupational therapist helps the clients by digging deeper holes for
addressing the root challenges like postnatal health condition of mothers. According the data
gathered by the author of this article, the occupational therapist across the entire globe are taking
certain initiatives for receiving further education regarding the health challenges of women.
Some of the common areas of the specialization of occupational therapy, specifically targeting
the women population as stated in the article are the urinary incontinence, prenatal, postnatal,
rehabilitation of breast cancer and general health condition of women. The article explains each
of these challenges which specifically target the female population. Specifically targeting the
female population, urinary incontinence is one of the common cause which affects the female
population. This condition require occupational therapy which can undergo a holistic approach
for improving the pelvic health of women. Some of the benefits and the factors targeting the

rehabilitation practitioner certification. It is thus essential to seek someone with specific training
regarding occupational therapy targeting the health status of women. This needs to include
general awareness related to the continued health condition of the health of women.
