AI Summary
This report examines the detrimental effects of plastic bottles on ocean ecosystems, focusing on both short-term and long-term consequences. The assignment highlights how plastic bottles contribute to the pollution of the ocean and harm marine life through entanglement, starvation, and the release of harmful chemicals. The report also discusses the economic impacts on shipping and tourism. The solution proposed includes implementing policies to reduce plastic bottle usage and promoting proper waste disposal methods. Regular ocean cleaning is also suggested as a means of mitigating the damage to marine species and resolving issues related to shipping and tourism. This report emphasizes the urgent need for action to protect the ocean's health.

ENVIRONMENT 1
The plastic bottle is considered highly harmful because it contaminates the ocean with the
other risky chemicals as well as microorganisms. Therefore, it is revealed that in the current year
about 8 million tons of plastic bottle throw in the ocean which have both short and term effects
(Guern, 2019). The long term influence is that plastic bottles kill seabirds, marine mammals and
fish. This influence the overall nature in negative manner it is because animal species highly
faced from enlargement, this is due to increasing in the toxic substances in the ocean and this
leads in impacting the environment (Problem of Marine Plastic Pollution, 2019).
There are also various short term impacts of plastic bottle on the ocean pollution which
includes physical influence that is “entanglement”, “starvation”. The other is the transportation
influence in which it polluted the ocean and species from harmful chemical in the different
remote areas. Therefore, plastic bottle also provide economic affects through damaging the
shipping as well as tourism (Problem of Marine Plastic Pollution, 2019). The plastic bottle
effects in highly negative manner and various preventions can be taken to reduce the ocean
pollution through plastic bottle.
This issue can be overcome by developing the policy of reducing the use of plastic bottle;
furthermore, the other practices can also be made to dump the plastic bottle waste in the
necessary bags. The solution is the regular cleaning, in which ocean can cleaned regularly so that
issues of damaging the species can be overcome and problem of shipping and tourism will be
solved.
