Introduction
This project plan has been grounded on the fitout of the average rise office building
within the Sydney suburb. Project manager who was assigned for the governance of this
project has resigned from his post and is moving overseas. This abrupt resigning of project
manager has led to the situation of hiring the new project manager for managing the rest of
the project and the duty of the communicating with the major stakeholders of the project and
provide them with the real time information about project progress and the present standing
of the project. The allocated fitout budget has been discovered as $1.2M and it has been
projected that this complete project of the fitout would be accomplished in period of almost 4
months. The triumph of the project of fitout is required to be determined by the management
by the proper utilisation of the three components that includes the budget, design and time.
This report majorly describes the present status of this project of fitout that includes
both the schedule variance and the cost variance. It has been identified that this paper also
provides the general idea about the importance of the leadership behaviour involved in this
