Introduction
Project Management holds a significant place which makes sure that the project of the
organisations is completed as per formulated plans and also managing the activities involved in
the project. There are a number of operations and the functions involved in a project and the
management of such activities is required to be managed and maintained properly. Projects are
based on the formulation of effective plans. These plans are developed in the form of documents
which includes an implementation plan, management plan of the project, performance evaluation
of the project and the last stage of the project i.e. the project closure. This assignment includes a
case scenario which includes large international oil organisation that requires management of the
operating and functional activities and resolving the issues faced by the organisation.

Implementation Plan
This plan plays an essential role in ensuring that the plans formulated for the performances of the
project and for the completion of the project are done as decided. It is essential that
implementation of the plan is made effectively so that desired and established objectives can be
accomplished. It includes the objectives or goals, activities or task involved, roles and
responsibilities of the personnel, required resources, etc. It also includes establishing limits for
some aspects as well as making assumptions for other aspects (Turner, 2016). These aspects
include the development of the budget, schedule, and resources which can be fixed and
fluctuating. However, it is essential that these aspects are defined properly. There are various
issues which are faced by the organisation and application of digitalisation may provide an
insight into the solutions of such issues.

adequate implementation, it is necessary to breakdown large operating and functional activities
into smaller tasks which makes it easier to perform (Chapman, 2016). Moreover, making the
performance of smaller tasks provides assistance in accomplishing the objectives of the project
without having an impact on the operation of the organisation.

protected against digital threats. It is to be made sure by the compliance officer of the
organisation.
